How long will Joe and Robert play the one upmanship game, its tedious beyond belief.

Has Lisa gone for good and if she has I wouldn't blame her.

Will Chas and Paddy last as long as this thread, I'd be very surprised.

Moses is adorable

Thanks for the new thread.

Emmerdale is going through an average stage at the moment but on the whole I'm enjoying it.

Thanks for linking the thread southeast, I can't figure out how to do it at all

Place mark, pithy comments to follow

Poor Arthur - it's all going to come out now.
I wish Brenda wasn't so whispery and awfu,l so that I could feel more outrage for her. She is in a bad place - if she splits with Bob (as she should) she would lose the children who she is really close to. She would also make them homeless as I think they all live in her cottage (what happened to Bob's place?) and does she co-own the cafe or work there for Bob? What would her place in the village be?

Good, well written episodes last night.

Maybe Lachlan could have a little chat with some of the other villagers and make them rethink their choices. Worked a treat on Sam.

I agree that little Moses is fab. He could give quite a few soap actors some tips.

MadamGrumps Fri 20-Apr-18 13:10:44

Mind if I join in?

I can't stand most of the cast but I can't seem to stop watching!

I wish marlon would just stop being so needy it's so cringe. Jess needs to stop leading him on too as she knows he's interested -bit of a bitch if u ask me!

JaneJeffer Fri 20-Apr-18 13:18:55

It's addictive Madam. I think I would have withdrawal symptoms if it ever went off air.

Moses is talking now and it's so cute. I love him and Ross together. I hope he wasn't upset when Ross asked about the tablets. The camera panned away but you could hear crying sad little sweetie

MurielsBottom Fri 20-Apr-18 13:27:55

It is funny how it is frustratingly addictive! I keep thinking I'm going to stop watching but then I find myself on catch up TV..

Haven't watched Thursday yet but I will catch up over the weekend.

Still want to punch Bob though.

MurielsBottom Fri 20-Apr-18 13:28:42

Also can anyone shed any light on why Brenda is behaving like she is?

Scotschic Fri 20-Apr-18 15:16:49

I don’t think the crying with Moses was real because the camera moved away when he cried so I thought it was fake.

He is a little cutie though.

bonfireheart Fri 20-Apr-18 17:48:01

How odd that suddenly Lachlan is the most mature person on the soap.

Scotschic Fri 20-Apr-18 18:52:44

How long before Lachlan cracks though? It’s like the village have forgotten that he sexually assaulted Aliciaangry

HettySunshine Fri 20-Apr-18 19:41:57

When your in a detention centre, are you allowed to miss lessons because you are 'sick' and just lay around in bed reading magazines instead?

Scotschic Fri 20-Apr-18 19:53:45

Well anything is possible in soapland Hettygrin

bonfireheart Fri 20-Apr-18 20:27:39

scotschic I can kinda get that because Alicia isn't in the soap anymore what I don't get is Peter and Ross being so blase about Moira killing their mum!

Scotschic Fri 20-Apr-18 21:01:40

Bonfire they’re not bothered about Moira killing their mum because she killed their dad and if it wasn’t for her then Finn would be alive, they’re more than likely glad she’s dead.

southeastdweller Fri 20-Apr-18 21:25:35

I thought the lad who plays Arthur was really good tonight.

Scotschic Fri 20-Apr-18 21:36:54

I just don’t get it when people say Arthur’s a good actorconfusedbecause I think he’s pretty rubbish and sometimes kids are rubbish in soaps, let’s see..we have a new Gabby as the old one was crap, we got a new Sarah Lou in Corrie as old one was crap, there’s a new Sarah (Debbie’s daughter) as the old one was crap and there’s loads more but I can’t think of them right nowconfused but I genuinely think it’s like Arthur is reading from a piece of paper without any acting, he’s wooden and I reckon he’ll be replaced when his character gets to a certain age, they often are.

southeastdweller Fri 20-Apr-18 21:43:34

Which child actors do you rate highly then Scotschic?

Scotschic Fri 20-Apr-18 22:13:51

Tiffany from EE was brilliant, April from Emmerdale and quite a few more, they’re not all bad, Arthur was really bad when he first came into it as was the first Gabby which is probably why she was replaced, I often wonder, with the bad child actors, if it’s the actors parents that push them into acting because surely the good actors wanted it for themselves? I used to want to act badly and I always got the lead parts in school plays and I was pretty damn good if I do say so myselfgrinand I remember the ones that had to star in plays, yet didn’t actually want too, were rubbish, I think Arthur just needs a few more drama classes tbh.

Scotschic Fri 20-Apr-18 22:16:43

Also the actors that wanted it for themselves are more likely to be good, Little April must’ve wanted it as she’s brilliant and deffo the best child actor in ED, Jake was great too when he was younger and Dans little one, Amelia was great too, surely you see a difference between Arthur’s acting and the good 1s I’ve mentioned?

JaneJeffer Fri 20-Apr-18 22:24:22

Arthur is such a good actor. You can see the emotion in his eyes.

Scotschic Fri 20-Apr-18 22:33:49

Totally disagree JJ but different opinions and all that smile
