Can I join in? I have been sorting and organising my stash today and I think I need some direction after just getting the Space NK GWP after a restock, even though I clearly don't need it Blush.

Here is some of it - I sorted into moisturisers (day and night), cleansers, toners, face oils, acids, retinols, serums, vitamin C, masks, lip stuff, eye stuff and then body, hair, hands/feet and sunscreen. This is just the unopened stuff - my 'in use' products are in the bathroom cabinets.

I haven't even started the makeup yet Confused

Checking in.
I was trying to take a picture today but the camera was the wrong way round(have no idea how i managed it) and i ended up getting a picture of my very very overcrowded vanity. I don't even know where to start. I know it's a 'nice' problem to have, but I'm actually too unwell to do anything about it for now, I think that's what is annoying me the most. Xx

I’ve a few empties to report - thread definitely helping.

I’m not sure it would work for everyone but I found that putting most of my stuff out of sight helped. It made me use up what was immediately in front of me rather than using bits of everything and never getting anything finished.

It hasn’t worked quite so well with my make up as I get bored of using the same eyeshadows (my downfall) and I really want to delve into the others I know are sitting in the box under my dresser. I have eye shadows that pre date my kids.

Decluttering this. Its well past it. Yuck. I have treated myself to the Liberty set today too. So looking foward to that.

I think it helps me to not having it all out in front of me. I have my routine in a travel bag and just use whats in there until its gone. I also hate having more than one of the same product open at once, which also helps. The chaos that would be in my mind if i had multiples of things open, id combust!!

I went through everything, decided on a routine (after reading around a bit) and then only kept out what I needed to stick to that routine. It's helped to work through things and then when I run out of something I can replace from the stash/buy new if I don't have one etc. Seems to be working....so far!

Thankyou. I'm fed up to say the least. Sick of bring sick and all that. Least I can look at my hoard of products and get some enjoyment, especially as I haven't left bed in I don't know how long. Lol xxx

@SlatternIsMyMiddleName I do this too. Have a really pretty tray (that I bought specifically for this purpose!) on my bedside table so I do my morning and evening skincare there. On the tray lives one of every thing that I want to use and finish up and only when that one is used up do I go to my drawers and replace it. It works well on the whole, mainly as I’m too lazy once I’ve sat down to use it to get back up and dig around in the drawers for something else Grin
But it’s helped me with having 6 acids/5 serums/7 moisturisers etc all open.
Everything in my drawer now is unopened for the most part. Every now and then I have a hunt for something else if I notice my skin needs it.

I have a tray too! It's on my dressing table. I have glass lantern domes on it and keep one of each type of thing under those.

My hoard is in another cupboard. It's like a little shop that I visit. Very well stocked.

Hi all. Checking in to the new thread and hoping to go back to regularly reporting on empties.

@CommanderBurnham, @daisyjgrey my stash is also carefully packed away in a cupboard. But it’s not such a little shop: it’s embarrassingly well stocked Blush.

I’m actually not sure putting it all away helps, as I’m inclined to forget quite how much I have.

My little shop sometimes has things I had forgotten about didn't even know it stocked ConfusedGrin

@AprilLady I find that too; when I dug out the unopened things to sort through I was semi-appalled to see how much of some things I had (cleansers, acids, body lotions) yet I only have one small night cream and not that much moisturiser! I have put everything in bags and am going to label them, then put them on the shelves in the bathroom cupboard so I see them most days.

I'm going to try hard not to buy anything else now, but I've already ordered the F&M advent calendar so I'll have some new stuff to faff with for Christmas Smile.

I have used up quite a lot the past few months but I am now in the advent calendar and Liberty danger zone.

Aveda Cheerry Almond leave in conditioner. Liked titbit prefer protect and perfect.
Clarins Tonic shower gel, the yellow one. Love this. Regular repurchase for me, such an uplifting fragrance.
Rituals hand cream - not moisturising enough for me.
Vorary Superseed facial oil. Was underwhelmed but actually it's great. Would repurchase. Definitely felt my skins more glowy.

Throwing away a 1/3 full as I don't like the smell.
Sukin coconut and coffee energising body scrub. Also felt it was too runny.
