Impressive nail varnish stash!

Empty - Inkey retinol nighttime serum. My first foray into retinol and it was grand. Not sure how much difference it made as I started it with a few other things. No immediate RP but might come back round to it after I have tried some other stuff.

I’m like an addict who can’t be cured. However I haven’t purchased for a while. I am so tempted by an advent particularly H&B but resisting. I have so much to use up I must resist!

Can't wait to read the advent calendar reviews. I'm just going to see what everyone raves about and make a list so I can order testers of things that appeal as a reward for using up my stash. Someone on another thread mentioned they did that one year and I thought it sounded like a great plan. Can't remember who or where but if you're reading this now - thanks!

I’m making my dds beauty advent calendars, I saved my boxes of cult/space nk last year and plan on filling it with little things I find over the next few months but I’m not getting one for myself this year. I don’t need any of it, I’m still working my way through last years stuff and from the ones I’ve seen there’s nothing that I either haven’t tried, don’t own or am curious enough to buy.

Empty: SVR micelles water

I've made a use it or lose it box now and trying to use samples up. I've got one more use of rituals body scrub but I might just bin it as I'm not enjoying it, too heavy and oily on my skin.

Tonight I've used up an Elemis papaya peel, I think ive got 3 more of the bloody things and I really don't enjoy the smell and used a rituals shower foam and a bath bomb.

Feel like I have achieved something 😀

Ysl black mascara and a Bobbi brown purple shimmery liquid liner finished. Loved the liner have been using every day - love how it adds a bit of sparkle (subtly)

The mascara is a staple for me. It lasts ages and it long wearing and very pigmented. I also love the range of colours ysl do. I have purple (love love) and blue to get through next.

I belong here too. I'm on a skincare and makeup ban at the moment.

I've got four baskets full of regular skincare, two baskets of excess along with two piled high boxes and two carrier bags, all of skin/haircare. The side of the bath is so cluttered I keep knocking things off and I have hardly any space on my vanity table because it's piled high with makeup.

I get excited every time I create an empty bottle. Same with clothes/shoes/coats which I'm also overrun with. I'm trying to use a small selection of the same things all the time, leaving the rest untouched so things get used up and worn out and can be binned guilt free.

I hate waste so I can't bring myself to get rid of unused items unless I'm selling it, but that's a hassle in itself and I don't tend to buy the sort of thing that has resale value anyway.

I've been through my autumn wardrobe today and found a badly bobbled shirt and cardigan and a pair of tights with a massive hole, so all those are for recycling.

Beauty wise I'll finish a bottle of shower gel tonight. It's Original Source in tea tree and mint, which I find good for keeping eczema, athletes foot and zits away. I won't need to repurchase yet because I kept buying it on special offer so I have loads already.

I've about another week left of my summer foundation, Maybelline Dream Matt Mousse in nude, which is great for my oily t-zone. It's a bit too pink based though and my skin has changed as I've aged so I'm not getting away with it like I used to. I'll try something else next summer. Unfortunately my local shop doesn't stock the full range of shades for that product.

About to finish a bottle of Maui Moisture sulfate free shampoo on the weekend. It's my favourite, I don't even need conditioner after. I love that it saves me time and money. I've other things to use up first though before I repurchase.

I have lots of empties today. Woo moving through the stash

• Le petit Marseillais coconut shower gel. Such a gorgeous shower gel/cream. I did a big order off a french site earlier this year as id heard lots about this brand. It was such a creamy moisturing lather. Didnt leave my eczema prone skin dry or tight. The scent wasnt a sickly coconut either. Totally recommend!💫

• Better You Magnesium flakes. Just threw them in my bath with an Olverum oil. Got from the latest Liberty kit. I didnt notice anything special..

• WOW dream coat 50ml. Got in a Cult GWP. Another 5 star product, which i would consider a HG! 50ml lasted me ages as you only use every 3-4 washes. Id say the results last around 2/3. My hair just isnt frizzy and unruly when i use this. My hair has transformed when i use this. Have another in stash.

• 7th heaven mask. Had for about 4 years.. just trying to get rid.

• DE Slaak cleanser mini. HG. Soothed my skin after my reaction. Need another pot.

• COSRX snail mucin essence. Not an essential part of a routine. But i find its the perfect base for all my other products, and its extra hydration. It feels a little icky at first, but you do get used to it. HG for me now..

• Dermalogica Biolumin C. Was gutted jd used all this up. Had it on the go for about 7 month now, so lasted ages. As its water based, it doesnt feel sticky on the skin. My skin looked instantly glowy and fresh. Its super expensive but it consider RP as it lasts ages. Probably the best Vit C ive tried!

• Darphin Red Relief mini. I liked this, again felt water based as it was really light. I think it helped a little with redness, but its not a product i really need atm. I think if its a product you need, it will do the job!

Decluttering NaturaBisse Diamond cocoon. Hmm its got a tint to it, so was confused to if its makeup or an eye cream. Odacite Eye contour serum. Its an oil, and i dont like the feeling of oil being under my eye!! Binned!

Sorry its long, possibly lots of typos too! I shouldnt let my rubbish build up!!!

Today I finished up a face cream. Clinique SuperDefense with SPF 20. I quite like it and will probably repurchase when I've got through the rest of the stash, unless I find something I like better.

@FluffyWhiteBird I have always been curious about the Maui range... maybe I will give it a go! Although my last two shampoo forays have been somewhat successful (I have very oily roots and dry/frizzy ends). I will breakout a new shampoo next week which is a salon type one like Kerastase - which I am using now and am very impressed with.

Experiment 627 the red one Hibiscus I think. Same here, dry hair but washed every second day due to oil on the roots. Once a week I use olive oil on the lengths and ends after shampooing. With most shampoos I absolutely have to use conditioner afterwards but with Maui I can manage without.
