Another pink rose, I forget the name. Puts on a great display.
The red is the one and only thing I’ve bought for the garden this year (Benjamin Britten). Scent is incredible. I have it in a pot by the door.

This is my pond yesterday, and the dragonfly had crawled from it and decided that the house corner was the better place to emerge(!)

I was lucky enough to see it take to the wing a little time later.

It reminds me of an umbrella plant .

It is a dragon lily. I didn't plant it but it is the first time it has flowered in 3 years. It normally gets eaten by the slugs!

Sorry - Lady of Shalott, Gertrude Jekyll and not sure.

I've done some reorganising and now have (yet another) shady nook. Am giving hostas another try including these rather sweet dwarf ones ('mouse ears').
