This thread is for those of us crazy enough to commit to continuing MOVE every day during the year
so@BestIsWest

tag anyone I've missed
everyone is welcome. We are doing this together because it motivates and encourages us and each has seen an improvement even tiny from repeating Move. Yes, we know there are other 30 day challenges and the monthly calendar but we love MOVE!

Day 11. Glad that was mobility as it genuinely helped my shoulder pain
@Shannith I’ve done them all. I love revolution, home, true and 30 days. But all are good. The earlier ones aren’t as slick. She makes more jokes!

I was also wondering about doing a different one next time then maybe coming back to Move to see how I go.

Shannith · 14/06/2022 11:48

@Sooverthemill you are our yoga safe on this - anyone you'd recommend- perhaps we could carry one with the move and add on in/mix and match? I quite like doing 2 a day when I can.

Sooverthemill · 14/06/2022 19:18

Let me look at them all again and I will report back!

Day 12 under my belt!

ArabeI · 15/06/2022 14:09

I'm still catching up, and doubling-up, and am on 7. I found 5 a slow, lovely relaxing stretch after the first four., and I'd been putting off doing it.

OopNorfDahnSarf · 15/06/2022 15:09

Did a swift neck and shoulders one today instead then went for a run. For some reason I am not in the mood for yoga at the moment. I haven't given up but I am not feeling the same reward as before.

BestIsWest · 15/06/2022 19:50

Did day 14 today. I managed to strain my Achilles’ tendon yesterday doing a bit of digging in the garden so had to give up on 13. It’s still a bit tender so I’m being cautious as we’re off on hols next week and I don’t want to be hobbling.

Shinyandnew2022 · 15/06/2022 22:08

Hi all still here and still at it but been struggling to get MN working in the evenings

Day 11 today enjoyed it.it was quite nice and low key which I needed as did it very late in day so lacking energy !

Well done @ArabeI I think you will find it gets better
And better for you now !

Sooverthemill · 16/06/2022 10:51

I did day 15 as I'm not feeling well again and I remembered that one was quite nice. Well done everyone

Did day 16 yesterday so keeping on track, but not sure I'll have time for any today.

Sooverthemill · 17/06/2022 08:47

I did a random head and shoulder one today as after visiting osteopath yesterday I’m in pain ( I know it will settle)

OP posts:
Rummikub · 17/06/2022 11:21

head and shoulder one sounds like something I need. I swear I have whiplash from falling asleep in a chair and jolting awake just before I fell!

i did day 16 today. I’ve missed a week and read the thread to remotivate myself.

BestIsWest · 17/06/2022 18:12

I managed a side plank! Only one side and just 10 seconds but wooooohoooo!

I hear you on the whiplash from nodding off @Rummikub.

Rummikub · 18/06/2022 10:26

Oh no do it is a thing! I must train myself to go to bed when I’m sleepy. Annoyingly though once I’m in bed I can’t sleep. I can sleep on buses, trains, planes, on a chair. In bed - nope!

side plank is awesome. On day 16s I had to put knees down but hoping I’ll get to do a proper one.

About to do day 17.

OopNorfDahnSarf · 18/06/2022 10:46

Hi everyone. I went rogue with Kassandra. It was interestingly different but similar at the same time. Then I did an Adriene hips and back which I enjoyed. I might start with Day 19 tomorrow or I might keep picking random ones off the Internet.
Happy yoga.

OopNorfDahnSarf · 19/06/2022 08:42

Adriene pelvic floor today. Interesting visualisation and a twist of the hips I hadn't done before.

Rummikub · 19/06/2022 12:28

Oh where is the pelvic floor one?
probably something I should be doing !

about to do day 18

WorriedMutha · 19/06/2022 20:15

I got behind by about four sessions so have had a couple of days of doubling up to catch up. I have to say that when I do two a day, I am wobbling towards the end of the second. Adrienne sessions aren't very long but I do give it my all to stay in the postures properly. That means I'm done at the end of two.
I really will have to try and keep up and maintain quality. That said, I'm curious about some of the area specific sessions like neck or lower back. Just to strengthen some of my weak spots.

Sooverthemill · 20/06/2022 06:21

Sorry! Yesterday I did another shoulders and neck one for my bad body. Today I'm going to aim to do a MOVE. Still not had time to evaluate the others but I'm drawn towards TRUE ( if we change)

OP posts:
Shannith · 20/06/2022 13:07

Sorry I've missed updating - though I've been keeping on.

@BestIsWest bloody brilliant - well done!

@Rummikub I've been doing loads of her neck/shoulder ones as my right collarbone is so smashed that I'm always in mild pain.

But I went to the physio who fixed my so key hips on Thursday and she focussed on my right upper back/shoulder and she's worked a miracle.

Doing yoga is now painless - it always hurt but I've got so used to it that I just cracked on. The change is amazing. In that I can move like a normal person.

It's made me very enthusiastic about yoga so I've raced up to day 23.

@Sooverthemill sorry you are feeling under the weather. TRUE sounds good.

BestIsWest · 20/06/2022 18:24

I managed 13 minutes of day 20 but we spent three hours in a country park with the dogs today so I was very tired and couldn’t manage another lunge!

I shall take a look at TRUE.

Sooverthemill · 20/06/2022 19:58

I did day 18 today. It was good. My shoulders are so bad I cannot work out what I've done. Osteopath suggests it's not an injury but the way my body is ( so, it's crap).

Sooverthemill · 21/06/2022 08:24

Day 19, another lovely short one
