Anyone else doing medical transcription at home?

Not much work and low pay but not much choice if you can't go out to work unfortunately.

Got paid earlier this month! Just wish some of the old specialties/consultants were back. Not much work this morning. Fridays used to be so busy. Wonder where all that work has gone.

Not as much work about this week, suppose a lot are off with the holidays.

Yes very slow to get back to normal after Easter

Yep, very poor for me too. Was hoping for more with April being the start of the new financial year, and previously it was suggested that was why work was scarce. Are all the schools back now? Public and private. Ie, docs have finished their holidays.

@Gally123 - yes my grandchildren went back Tuesday this week but I agree nothing of my specialties at all but some on one hospital for me but arent allowed to type as they arent red!

@carosel2 - I was never re-added to the hospital I was removed from at Christmas when they did their "temp" reset, never bothered to ask about it again. So in my main hospital some specialties missing altogether, others only 4 or 5 letters. Hope it picks up next week.

I am hoping it does pick up next week. I think possibly clinics are reduced with the Easter holidays.

@Gally123 - really! There are three that dont do any of my specialties, that arent available to me on my account. They must have them.as mine are common ones and I had them once a year and a half ago but are never available now at all. Im down on my characters too this.month as im struggling with whats left. I hope it does pick up!

Has anyone been paid yet, I know they say 7 day of month but they are so unpredictable as some months they pay long before this

@carosel2 Yes I have been paid today - didn't think we would get paid till tomorrow with the bank holiday so nice surprise.

Anyone else getting odd error messages this afternoon? I started one letter then a message kept flagging up that I was not authorised to access it. I tried to move it to WIP or return to the list but that was blocked as well. My usual go to when odd messages is to log in a second time and then log out of the first screen but it won't let me do that. Now I've just got one of the circles that goes round and round! Any ideas? Thanks.

Yes, I was in middle of typing a letter (near end of a long one typically!) and got error message "you are not authorised to access this resource". Now getting same message when I try to log in. Hope they haven't got rid of us! I have emailed support so hopefully will get an answer

@olddoglover yep I sent a message as well, but know how long it takes to be acted on hence I thought quick to give a shout out here! Glad it's not just me. My internet is fine. (Always another worry).
