Hi, I took a while to find the thread too, I think the advanced search is case-sensitive.

Has anyone noticed with DICT8 that, if the invoice doesn't go in on the 1st, it takes much longer to be paid? Due to hols, I put the invoice in around 8th and still haven't been paid. It's still at the 'invoice submitted' stage.

Anyone else getting 'this site cannot be reached' for Dict8??

I get in but the sound is muffled having to shut down and restart several times before it comes good again. I wondering if its my laptop on its way out. Has anyone encountered this problem ?

Not about typing, but for all those affected by current situation - or family and friends - there are a couple of petitions about (just google them) giving a vote of no confidence in the current government or the labour party. Two months in and what have they achieved? Axing winter fuel payments and lettering dangerous criminals out on the streets.

Can anyone help with footpedal issues? It says it’s connected but not playing. Works fine one minute then doesn’t work again!

@Raisingboys22 sounds odd if works one minute but not the next. Hopefully it is working today. When I bought my last foot pedal (my third!) I made sure that it was one recommended by DICT8 that only needed to plug into the system and did not need any extra software downloaded/installed. Otherwise all I can suggest is the usual - log out and then back in again and see if it has fixed itself.

Just writing to say, wasnt the last three days of tasks dire, where have the RTXs all gone. Losing the will to live. 😭

I've been not too bad recently, RTX's included. Getting used to some of the ethnic accents (only taken over a year🙄). Not been on since yesterday, having a break as it's sunny outside, don't see that yellow ball in Scotland much !! Will get back to it on Monday when weather breaks down again 🙄😅

Yes definitely enjoy the last bit of the good weather get as much of your natural VitD. Today my end was like a summer's day so umbrella up and outdoor lunch...If only you could bottle it..lol

@Gally123 have you got a link to the petitions: if they are coming after our most vulnerable in society first what is next on their hit list. I think it is a disgrace. That man doesn't even pay for his own glasses, football tickets, clothes for his wife, and gets a heating allowance too (and the rest) - makes you wonder what he had to do in return as there is always a price to pay.

@Pinksvilles - I understand next on the list is the single person's council tax discount - which is ridiculous when you think that some houses can have four or five adults of the age of 18 but only 2 pay the tax. Some flats etc are only meant for one person, so why should they pay double? However, councils want the discount stopped, or rather they want more money (to pay themselves). I understand bus passes are safe - probably because they don't want the really elderly back behind the wheel causing accidents. And as mentioned previously, prescriptions are safe (at the moment) as it was decided that the most reliable workers are older and they don't want them going off sick and claiming benefits because they cannot afford prescriptions.

@cathyk2002 - reply and point out that it is not paid work, therefore they cannot comment. You leave messages from the kindness of your heart. If they want something specific they need to pay. as it is stands insisting on something unpaid (and low pay as it is) is illegal. I've told her in the office that.
