@Cherryblossom114 : Been in the garden quite a lot. My dad's not very well so between that, looking after my dad's hospital appointments, my grandchild and my hospital appointments I have not really been able to do much work at all. Apparently I have not missed much!

Just wanted to say my pet hate is when the doctor dictates the spelling of a med term or drug and it is incorrect but they tell you you still have to spell how it is dictated !! sloppy by the medic if you ask me.

@nomadchild I spell it the correct way and put a note telling the doctor I've checked it and my spelling is the right one. I put it politely, of course😅

@Lovemydaxie yes that's what I do - "dictated as" then "typed as", for names as well as drugs etc.

Yep, had that a couple of times. Had a request for a child's cardigan, so been busy knitting that up but had e-mail to say plenty of work waiting 🙄

Haven't bothered with DICT8 just not worth the effort !!! My local Trust are now starting to advertise working from home on a Grade 4 pay, (with minimal requirement to go into work) looks like they are willing to take any hours offered so am in the process of applying for that on my terms this time

@danblack87 Took a break out from 'Dick8' give the Brain a rest... Look like you have your hands full, theres not enough hours in the day it seems these days, no matter how early one rises !

Was getting on fine this morning then hubby came home on a half day so work suffers 🙄 Only 'pin money' for me anyway but thought I'd attempt to blitz it today as was knitting yesterday & didn't get round to it. Just had a monsoon here just now, big change from last week's weather

Just had some feedback and all I can say is ...... it's not too bad considering trying to make out ethnic voices, dictation done as if running from a train (OK, I know you can slow it down but just doesn't make out the same) and length if some letters.

Do they actually realise that the majority of the dictation typed is OK and most of the letters are done correctly so saving someone else typing main body..... I don't think so !!!!!! 🙄

@Pinksville - Me neither with Dict8. Thousands of letters with Tpro and pick of any speciality! No restrictions on '5 letters'. I make dam good money with them. Might not be the best pay but its near enough equal to Dict8 rates but you can easily earn £12 an hour and more as the doctors are easy to understand and VR is so much quicker. Work is in abundance!! Happy days!😁im so in front now with my personal target im off to my caravan for a few days break. Could never do that with Dict8

@Pinksville me too with Tpro just had 2 weeks abroad and will still make twice as much as I did with Dict8 in a month. I’m amazed at how much I actually enjoy working for them. You get a bit of banter in the day whenever they contact you and i like the fact there are sometimes urgent tasks they ask us to help with (if we can) makes the job more varied. It’s changed my financial situation greatly I actually look forward to work each day. When I signed up it was as a safety net and thought I’d hop between the 2 sites each day but I haven’t looked at Dict8 since. There is no competition.

Still considering my approach to ACAS about the lack of pay rise with DICT8 but I see from the news that companies that have failed to pay minimum wage have been named and shamed, and also that they have to back date any pay - including for people who no longer work for them. As well as a pay rise I really think we should be paid for all the work in the notes box - I hope DICT8 have kept detailed records of all of this....

@Gally123 so do I !!! I have been monitoring my note box and on average I am losing about 50p per note over x amount of time this soon adds up ! is it not slave labor i.e. persons, especially a large group, performing labor under duress or threats ?

How do you view the notes box ?? New to all this 🙄

Did anyone get notified of the maintenance work being carried out today on the site - I had no idea and just lost a really long dictation!

anyone else think that when PIFU is dictated you feel like you're been told where to go 😂or may be I've lost the plot finally !!!

No notifications about maintenance. However, just been in to check my invoice status and it says 'cheque issued Tuesday' ?rather than the date ... now I can only assume that means 27th June last week (when I posted my invoice) as it is only Monday today. I have not received my cheque - I have tried to contact Dict8 by e-mail but it comes up as 'error code 503' ... Pissed Off to say the least.

Hi, hope you don’t mind me asking how you sign up to T-pro. I did have a look online but just couldn’t see where you signed up. I’ve been working for DICT8 for a while, but the money is terrible.
