If the OP ended up getting some form of compromise/ settlement agreement with their former employer they will be unlikely to update this thread.

Hopefully they did come away with remuneration to compensate what they went through, even if the manager never got to apologise or admit wrongdoing,

Sorry for the paucity of updates. I have been off social media for a while. I received a response to my grievance yesterday! They entirely upheld my complaint and agreed (essentially) it was a load of bullshit. I have been offered a small amount of compensation. And twat of a boss essentially just gets to read that he was a twat.

So I am considering my options!

From experience, do not accept their first offer. Tell them what compensation you believe is appropriate and why….

If you feel that having the grievance upheld gets you closure, and vindicates you, then I wouldn't take it any further & would accept the offer.
This has been impacting your life for way too long now, and IIRC you have since moved team and no longer work for Dickhead Boss.

I really hope he got his arse handed to him on a plate, but suspect not. Well done for seeing it through though, it was one of the most bizarre situations I have ever read about on here.

Wow OP I'm so glad this has come to an end for you, it's been a very long time coming! I hope the compensation is enough that you can put it all behind you, but if you feel you deserve more for the untold amounts of stress this put you under for the last couple of years, then please do see it through a little bit longer and get what's owed for that.
