@danblack87 today is gorgeous. I have been sent loads of work from another company that hasn't sent my any since March so am shut away inside typing 😪😥

Tasks were good for me too yesterday and I still got out all afternoon to enjoy some sunbathing and reading a book in the garden, had a lovely day.

Gally123 · 09/08/2020 09:09

the weather here is nice at the moment, as it was yesterday morning and Friday morning, but in the afternoons it has been very cloudy and on Friday it even rained a little, so due to various reasons I have not had a chance to enjoy the sun at all. Maybe later today.

Gally123 · 10/08/2020 09:00

been logged in for almost an hour and a half - beginning to get concerned that it is going to turn into one of those days (again), sitting staring at a blank screen.

danblack87 · 10/08/2020 10:41

Yes it does like we are heading for one of those days - I have typed but a couple.

Chrissols · 10/08/2020 10:44

I have given over expecting much on a Monday as it seems to be very slow every week (the rest of ever so slightly better)

@Chrissols: Are you feeling alright today re. your gall bladder? Daffodil

alikat55 · 10/08/2020 11:31

Nothing for me this morning so far - been logged in since 07.45am. Hope things improve as the day goes on, but will probably give up the ghost after lunch and go out in the sun.

Chrissols · 10/08/2020 11:32

@danblack87 yes thank you. I can go for weeks without an episode but when it happens it is the worst pain ever (worse than childbirth). Just hope they get it sorted but think it will be a while off yet with the current situation. It has taken so long as it was removed in December 2018, or so my medical records say, yet the images show some of it sill there with stones in situ.......

@Alikat55: The garden is looking quite tempting right now!! Smile

danblack87 · 10/08/2020 12:56

@Chrissols: you are well within your timeframe to make a formal complaint. I went through something many years ago but didn't complain as I was working for NHS (seemed disloyal) - Result: lost my first born Sad. Told I couldn't have any children [result: one daughter 18 months later !!] Shocker but a lovely surprise Smile

alikat55 · 10/08/2020 12:58

@danblack87 I agree - I've had one short task so far today. Keep wondering whether I dare approach the subject of getting one more specialty added to my list. I know there has been no chance of this in the past, but there's no harm in asking.

Gally123 · 10/08/2020 13:21

this is the worst Monday for several weeks. As the weather forecast was good(!) I did lots of washing before the storms due end of the week, so was a bit dismayed to find when I went into the garden to hang the bits on the line that it was so cloudy!

I did some sorting out the other day and found the DICT8 bag they sent when I signed up. Has anyone ever used theirs? I don't really like the idea of walking down the road carrying a bag with their huge logo on it but it might come in handy otherwise.

danblack87 · 10/08/2020 13:29

@Gally123 I never received a bag - and 'no' if I had I wouldn't use it hahahahaha ... that's put me in stiches of laughter Wink

Gally123 · 10/08/2020 13:36

@danblack87 -I'll try and take a photo of it later and see if I can upload it - it is hideous! If I do get my holiday this year (still in doubt and holiday company not much help) I might take it to store my dirty washing in...

alikat55 · 10/08/2020 13:38

I received a bag, but have never used it. It was nice of them to send it though and I also think it's good of DICT8 to send us a diary every year.
That's it! - I've had enough clicking refresh - going out in the garden until later on.

danblack87 · 10/08/2020 14:12

I have had a diary every year and once I got a 'mouse' mat "Dict8 Standard formattig.

Gally123 · 10/08/2020 14:56

@alikat55 - oh yes, I like my yearly diary, that gets a lot of use and I look forward to seeing what colour it is going to be each year. It's just the bag is such an odd thing to have sent and I don't suppose many people have used theirs, hence they seemed to have stopped sending them.

@danblack87, yes I have a mouse mat with the formatting on although it is a bit buckled now.

Meha5 · 10/08/2020 17:26

recovering well @danblack87 :)

Chrissols · 11/08/2020 09:42

Does anyone know the rate of pay with T-Pro?

OP posts:
danblack87 · 11/08/2020 09:56

You still having a bad time getting 'tasks' @Chrissols? 'Fraid I don't know the rates with T'Pro (from what I can recall it is a slightly higher rate of pay but the jobs vary ... I was accepted but didn't follow it through as I was doing well with private work and Dict8 at the time). Good Luck.

Chrissols · 11/08/2020 10:00

@danblack87 sorry to have interrupted your tasks.....I haven't had any so far today which is why I asked, it's getting a bit silly and bills still have to be paid. I love working for Dict8 but need the income so was just fishing as to what working for T-Pro is like and pay etc.....

OP posts:
Gally123 · 11/08/2020 10:11

@Chrissols - I was in the process of applying to T-Pro when COVID started and they put everything on hold. The rate of pay is more or less the same as DICT8, however as an Irish company they pay in Euros, which your bank will probably charge to convert to pounds, rates very. I have not heard from T-Pro since March.

danblack87 · 11/08/2020 10:13

@Chrissols: you haven't interrupted my tasks - if I was SOOOOooo hugely busy I would not have replied!! I have had some but not a huge amount today; I just know that you have been struggling for weeks now and you are not too well either so I am worried about you (don't know you personally but I am worried about you and everyone out there trying to make a living and making ends meet). Cake. Flowers. Smile.

Chrissols · 11/08/2020 10:20

@danblack87 awww thank you. Don't worry about me, we will always survive.......just good sometimes to be able to have a rant on here 🥴🥴
