Man arrested for self identifying as a converted muslim woman.

I think this throws the door open for all kinds of questions about fairness.

Men have been banned from covering their faces at protests so one man identified as a muslim woman and wore a burka, he was arrested.

I've seen 2 media outlets so far with headlines reporting that 'a man' has been arrested.

If we break it down...

If a 'real' muslim woman attends a protest (a Pro Palestine one for example) would she be arrested?

Has he been arrested for wearing the burka or identifying as a woman falsly?

Why is he not believed when he says he is a woman?

After all, it is fluid day to day and just a feeling! And any man can decide to become a woman at any point?

And who says he cannot decide to convert to Islam??

And why is he being reported as 'a man in a burka' when transwomen are NEVER reported this way when they self identify, even after committing rape?!

We all know why he is doing this.

But he is simply playing the establishment at their own game.

Why have so many Palestine protests occoured with men covering their faces with Kaffirs and balaclavas but it only becomes a problem now?

Why is it a problem to self identify now?

Why is it not a problem for a muslim woman to cover her face in a bank or school or park but this 'muslim woman' cannot?

Of course its ridiculous

But the point is that ALL self identification and complete covering of the face in public is ridiculous

But its only this man be arresed and called out for seemingly both things?

Man arrested for self identifying as a converted muslim woman.

You said you didn't know the difference between the clothing items because you didn't grow up inside that religion (I'm paraphrasing to avoid repeating your deleted comments). That is what I was referring to. The Mean Girls schtick might work on others - but it doesn't with me. I'll call out bigoted nonsense when I see it.

Isn’t “mean girl shtick” misogynistic nonsense?

Same as “Karen” and needs calling out too!

ShitHoleDweller · 12/09/2026 20:29

I suspect they’ll be donning latex masks in the style of Mrs Doubtfire at some point.

Yes, clearly everything that goes against the more rabid/vapid view on here is misogynistic.

😂 Hilarious, I hope she pleads not guilty, let a jury of her peers decide on her fate and if she gets time I hope she stamps her foot really hard until she gets sent to a women's prison. 😂

I love it when someone takes the piss out of the government, they're such a bunch of tools now, they and all their ridiculous laws deserve all the ridicule anyone dares to pour on the heads.

At the next protest they should all turn up in burkas. 🤣

ShitHoleDweller · 12/09/2026 21:23

Weirdly I was saying the same this evening. I can’t help chuckle when the government puppets are forced to account for themselves. We know they know the whole thing is bullshit, but here we all are.

Contain4 · 12/09/2026 21:45

A burka, whether you agree with it or not, is not designed to intimidate or hide someone’s identity for the purpose of a crime.

A balaclava is designed to intimidate and/or hide someone’s identity to commit a crime.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a balaclava, a pair of tights or a ski mask - if it’s worn to intimidate or commit a crime, then it should be illegal.

Same with Halloween - it’s fine for men to dress up as clowns and wear masks - this would not be ok if they’re doing it during a protest because that same mask is there to intimidate.

bestchooseanother · 12/09/2026 21:46

For goodness' sake, it's not hard 🙄

The right-wing obviously must not cover their faces as it might make it marginally harder to find and arrest them. It doesn't matter if the left do as they're never going to be arrested anyway, so they can wear what they like.

Same as any man can put on a dress and he's she's definitely a woman, so long as she supports Labour. Even she rapes other women with her penis, she's definitely a female so it can't be actual rape. On the other hand, if he doesn't support Labour he's clearly a male pervert out to cause trouble, and he must be locked up immediately to protect us all. Even if he's not sexually assaulted anyone and is just walking along the road. That's quite obviously much more dangerous, you can tell from her his politics.

It's really very simple.

Actually, balaclavas were designed to keep soldiers warm in the crimean war. Not designed for criminals.

You are correct, design was the wrong word.

They are not illegal to buy because for many, they will still be useful.

Buy when they’re used to intimidate or commit a crime, then I agree they should be illegal.

Most people wear some sort of scarf around their face in winter - it’s not banned because it’s not used to intimidate.

These men wear them to intimidate, to commit a crime or because they’ve already committed a crime.

Or they could be cosplaying as Crimean soldiers? Who knows. I mean, Antifa wear masks and balaclavas when they show up at women’s events, are they committing a crime? I thought they were the good guys?

Comes in very handy on a motorbike in winter too.

True. Or whilst skiing. How would anyone know whether someone was wearing one to commit a crime or cos they were cold?

You don't think a burka in a school or an airport is a risk?

Remind us - how many of the 9/11 terrorists wore face coverings at the airports before they boarded the planes?

Dollymylove · 12/09/2026 22:06

A male identifying as female and has converted to Islam and is wearing a burka.
Good grief the police must be tying themselves in knots 🤣

The police are leaving in droves.
My cousins partner is in the process of leaving. He cringes with embarrassment every time he has to go out shift

Which is bad for us because when the you know what hits the fan, we're going to need them. I wonder if the high ups who have destroyed the police with this batshittery will be deployed on the line when it all kicks off.

Yes of course and if they wear them for cosplaying that’s fine.

I’d assume a lot of us have them to cosplay in the bedroom.

But if they’re being worn to intimidate or commit a crime then that is obviously wrong - which everyone would agree with.

Wearing them in a protest is to intimidate and to potentially commit a crime (and so they can’t be called out on their previous crimes).

If you’re not doing anything wrong, then there’s no reason to cover your face.

lcakethereforeIam · 12/09/2026 22:38

You equating a bloke taking the piss out of Muslim women with trans people isn't feminism either.

Reminded me of these stunning and brave lasses (I put a sensitive filter on jic). Is this feminism?

I don't think face coverings are being worn to intimidate or commit a crime (by the anti boat protesters). I think they are being worn because we don't have freedom of speech, freedom of political expression or freedom of protest on this country - so if people could see who they are they would be discriminated against/ sacked from their jobs etc - simply for protesting the boats landing while the majority of British people don't want the boats either.

We clearly dont have a free democracy /freedom of political choice. We have people in roles such as fire fighters warned for canvassing for reform, politicians from different parties refusing to work with reform councillors/leaders despite them being democratically elected etc. If Reform are elected it's going to be very clear that the left don't believe in democracy as they throw their toys out of the pram.

If we had the freedom to protest without being subject to discrimination the anti boat protests would be hundreds of thousands of people if not millions.

We do have the freedom to protest.

People protest all of the time.

The majority of protests have been people that are unmasked.

The protest around Sarah Everhard had some people wearing masks due to Covid but anytime you see a protest most people do not cover their faces.

Well actually. Antifa always wear masks when they try to intimidate women at women’s events. Would you put them in the same category as the anti-immigration posters? If not, why not?

If you will be discriminated against after for protesting then it's not true freedom to protest.

That's like saying someone at work has the freedom to complain about their conditions when that complaint leads to them being sacked. You don't truly have the freedom to complain if it will lead to you being sacked. You don't have the freedom to protest if you will be vilified, persued through a 2 tier justice system, sanctioned at work - just for expressing perfectly legal political views - that are in fact the majority view.

The Government is attempting to control political expression by misusing the police and the justice system. If they spent more time protecting the right to free speech, freedom of political choice and freedom of peaceful protest then these men wouldn't need to cover their faces.
