Tempest (a TW) is claiming discrimination, harassment and/or victimisation on grounds of gender reassignment. Central to the claim is the existence of the Sex Equality and Equity Network in the Civil Service (SEEN). SEEN has been granted right to intervene. Parts of the original claim against the co-chair of SEEN (Elspeth Duemmer-Wrigley) and another party (Andreas Mueller) were struck out or narrowed. Another claimant, PQ, is no longer part of the case.

Please note that Elspeth still has a garden in need of seeds and water to support the ability of SEEN to be an intervenor in this case. The claim originated because she said "only women menstruate" and a search with her name and those terms at the usual gardening website should point you to her plot.

🤯 I shall definitely try to watch some of them. I’m so glad my kids schools have stayed relatively sane. Bamboozling when you get slated for taking any sort of drugs (antihistamines for a start) whilst pregnant incase it damages the baby, yet it’s ok to give them something that could potentially cause infertility.

I'm just being pedantic. I think it's irrelevant anyway because the consequences of being somebody who might become/might have become pregnant or somebody who has been pregnant are so wide reaching and go far beyond the months when maternity rights apply.

The TRAs objected to a post which correctly listed the EA’s 9 PCs saying that gender shouldn’t be there instead of sex.

For some reason the moderation team cant Google the 9 PCs and are unsure but think that the original post is accurate .

A TRA called DF posts incorrectly saying gender is a pc but it’s his rude tone that gets his post removed.

CA is criticised for leaving a factually accurate and moderate post on Y for 3 days without moderation.

I find it utterly weird that HH is using this as an example of discrimination against trans people….

Surely they don’t have the right to reinterpret/misrepresent the law?

Surely it’s not discrimination to point out what the correct 9 PCs are?

Is HH not doing her client’s case more harm than good here?

I'm guessing that if it was put to a referendum with a choice of 'spaffing it up the wall on this guff' or 'spending it on fixing potholes', 99% of the population would want it spent on the potholes.

Though that might slightly cramp the style of all the FB wits who post pictures with captions like, 'Watch out for the big un on Mill Lane as you come up Galbraiths on the right, it's got seals it.'
