Watch in real time as Trans Reddit turns on one of it's own for suggesting that maybe they are biological men and arguing they are not makes them look unstable.

They're actually bonkers 😂

WallaceinAnderland · 01/05/2026 16:11

Sex doesn't exist but if you medicalise you can change your sex

Can they hear themselves?

Bear in mind many of these are young people raised in a culture that had briefly agreed with them. It's sad really.

Yep. They’ve been sold a massive lie and run with it like there’s no tomorrow.

MarieDeGournay · 01/05/2026 16:15

a babies assigned gender at birth is usually a best guess

They're even wrong when they're right! [and not the grammar and spelling]

It's true that if you assign a gender to a baby at birth, it will be a best guess - the baby might turn out to be a girl who hates pink and glitter, or a boy who loves pink and glitter, or any range of gender stereotypes in between.

But that's not what they meant, is it? They meant 'sex assigned at birth'.
They can't even get their wrongness right🙄

Pingponghavoc · 01/05/2026 16:15

Its why its frustrating when allies come on here and say no one thinks they can literally change sex, no one is denying sex, its all about gender and perception.

Lots really do believe that they change sex, they have been assigned the wrong sex, or sex is so complicated, no one knows anyone's sex.

It is telling that the women acknowledges her sex. I suspect for men, sex is just cosmetic, but for women the reproduction potential is very real.

BellaBlackberry83 · 01/05/2026 16:18

Someone has just posted this, without irony:

I wish I could have changed my gender but it has always felt pretty immutable. That's the whole reason I started changing my physical sex with hormones and surgery.

So the nebulous concept of gender is fixed and immutable, but the very real concept of sex is not?

I honestly don't think they realise how out of step they are with the real world.

DoughnutDreamer · 01/05/2026 16:19

They all sound insane. And the constant trotted out line about GCSE biology- even babies can distinguish between the sexes. It doesn’t take any level of education to recognise the differences between male and female.

SecretSquid · 01/05/2026 16:22

All it takes is a little pill or some gel, apparently.
I mean, if it's that easy, what's all the hoo-ha been about for all these years?

My cat can distinguish between the sexes. She hates all males.

And my favourite quote from the thread:
Every demographic has stupid people. Ours is no different.

Of course, they don't think THEY are the stupid people...

Yep. They’ve been sold a massive lie and run with it like there’s no tomorrow.

But then one day reality hits.

This is a related thread (the same poster has started several) and again it's a sad read. It's a trans woman who is facing up to the fact that after 5 years they still don't pass and probably never will.

Fimofriend · 01/05/2026 16:33

My do they twist words. They don't seem to understand that they are contradicting themselves in the same sentence. "...sex isn't binary.... it is bimodal...".

Binary and bimodal mean the same thing when it comes to sex. We all agree that some men are more masculine than other men and some women are more feminine than other women. It doesn't mean that the less masculine men are somehow women or almost women nor does it mean that the less feminine women are almost or somehow men.

Instructions · 01/05/2026 16:34

The sheer ignorance and spite on display in that thread!

Not popular on that thread...

She is a 4tran user. Take everything she says with a massive cup of salt because those people just beat down other trans people or are not even trans themselves and they just act hateful towards trans folk.

Yea, she's just trolling. 100% guarantee.

Pingponghavoc · 01/05/2026 16:42

Yea, she's just trolling. 100% guarantee.

I like their standards, though. Convinced they're a troll but refuse to misgender.

HPFA · 01/05/2026 16:45

A) Sex is completely meaningless and anyone can be anything.

B)If you don't admit I've changed my sex it's literal violence against me.

I've never understood how they can argue these two things simultaneously.

GriseldaandMike · 01/05/2026 16:56

But I thought we were told the other day that the community speaks with one voice? How come we are seeing differences of opinion from this united community?

singthing · 01/05/2026 17:08

The more and more they collaboratively dig in to this closed view, the more and more ridicule they will get when they try and suggest it to the outside world.

It would be tragic if not so hilariously stupid.

BusyAzureTraybake · 01/05/2026 15:37

Looks like I spoke too soon:

We already know it’s possible for other species to produce both types of gamete at different stages of their life. It’s only a matter of time before this will be medically possible in humans.
🙄

Are they still wheeling out the clownfish argument?

We are mammals, clownfish aren't!

It's almost like women face a shit-ton of reproductive stuff that men don't and we can't opt-out of pretending otherwise.

I like your cat despite having never even met her.

Appleski · 01/05/2026 17:35

They have to be able to believe that they do change sex because to believe anything else makes a total mockery of their identity and reveals to them exactly how everyone else sees them regardless of what they say as a man or woman pretending to be the opposite sex and failing to fool anyone and that is before we get into the very real harm and mutilation that is often part and parcel of the lie that is "transition".

Taztoy · 01/05/2026 17:37

So by that rationale, if I ask for a woman doctor because of my trauma, I’ll get a man and they’ll gaslight me?

How would you tell?

Sorry...one of them has pulled out the "If I tell people I'm XX, how will they know otherwise?" argument.

Well, sir, it's like this...
