Morning All and @MarieDeGournay just catching up. Just adding to the posts from last night that I'm very glad you are not banned. I had started to read 'that' thread yesterday afternoon but as usual I don't have time to keep up.

Oh did I? It's nice to feel recognised as one of the truth tellers. I'm sure anything any of us posted there could have been zapped for scepticism.

I wonder was onepost human. Some of the naivety was reminiscent of some of the early attempts of AI image creators to depict a half glass of wine. The bafflement when it was suggested that men under 5'4" tall exist. I know lots of them - colleagues, friends, uncles, neighbours, Bernie Ecclestone, Dudley Moore, Prince . . .

An actual human could not be unaware, and would know how ridiculous the question was.

And a machine is not going to 'know' that for a human, the concepts of truth and belief are quite different.

I was hugely heartened by the mass of sensible, clever, erudite women who told the truth so bloody well.

Although faintly miffed i didn't seem to get any deletions. Must try harder.

Interesting points about TT being real or not.. I just took his resolute refusal to be anything but 100% right as male discourse😏
Some of his wording was weird, like the 'I do not owe you an answer' when cornered but..

I still maintain that it wasn't a particularly 'heated' discussion, I got the impression that posters were engaging with him in that spirit of 'oh no here's another one but let's deal with his specific points' and eventually it became like an intellectual joust to reveal his arrogance and his lack of knowledge.

I we'd got properly heated with him, we wouldn't have been using fancy metaphors to tell him what we thought of him and where he should go, and we'd all be one naughty-step away from a permanent ban😃

If so, you're very welcome and if you've been lurking for a while you'll know all about the lovely bar-gerbils who will take your order for anything you fancy, it will be delivered promptly and efficiently, and in huge quantities - e.g. 'a swimming-pool of G&T please bar-gerbils' didn't phase them, I believe the response was 'Certainly Modom. Icebergs and a lemon grove?'😃

And of course, you can drink a swimming-pool full of Bluestocking G&T and still be on your feet and safe to drive home - magic!

There was another apparent newcomer to the Bluey several pages ago, Magpie did the welcoming that time. Can't remember the username, but welcome!

Sorry if you are not new, but old hands who have namechanged. It's a risk we run when we welcome a new name. The worst that can happen is that the old hand raises her lorgnette to her eyes, looks at me with disdain and says 'Ay'll have you know my good woman that Ay have been heah since the inception of this august institution' but so far that hasn't occurred😄

His whole story failed to hold water.

I accidentally made too much Lentil pie on Ash Wednesday, so had a second go at it yesterday. Today is meat-free anyway, as were my pancakes on Tuesday. And, come to think of it, the broccoli and anchovy pasta on Monday.

This all may explain my unpleasant and disturbing dream last night, where I was in hospital and a stinker of a doctor told me I had to become vegetarian.

Steak for Sunday, I think.

I've made salmon and parsley fishcakes for tonight's meal.
It's raining again (day 50- something). The cats are grumpy.

I think that may be because, as Hedgehog(?) suggested, it was a tag team. Some were better than others, but they couldn't all remember what had been said previously, hence the monotonous "that is your belief".
