BTW something to point out, which my dear deceased mother said to me when I took her to see a drag show several decades ago, was that what upset her the most is that they can look better than most of the women she knows. As well, the reason for the large height, is because they train themselves to wear heeled shoes that are sometimes at least 13-15 cm. Again, another reason some women are jealous.

Off topic but I'm impressed by your dedication to educating your DM in the ways of drag while she was deceased.
Even when we are dead we women have much to learn from men.
Also, how did you get her to, from and into the venue? Asking for a friend.

Skinwalking

Mr Meno did a post on this. Apparently there were also gender neutral toilets available, but as ever they went for the women's.

Isn't this on a par with the likes of Eddie Izzard "appropriating" their dead partner by taking their name? Ie Suzy.

C'mon now, it's obvious that the poster was referring to his mother who has since died.
OK so it was clumsy sentence construction, and could be construed humorously, but he is referring to his late mother who he loved and who loved him.
Can we leave his mother in peace?

I wondered. I also figured it gave a whole new meaning to the comment how those men looked so good as women compared to ‘other women she knew’.

Language. It really is important.

But he hasn’t left his mother in peace. He has used her to once again shame women in yet another post showing his attitude towards women in clear light.

Imagine all those trans beauty queens in heaven (or is that Heaven night club?).

I agree - he hasn't. But I feel that we should.
That's just me, I have an emotional reaction to the subject of dead mothers, anybody's dead mother.

For what it's worth, Marie, I believe there's more than a likelihood that the entire story is fictitious anyway.

As we know, TRA's are generally complete strangers to the truth, including reality itself.

You're probably right, DatunSmile
I confess that my reaction is emotional, I feel that if there's even the slightest chance that the poster is referring to a real mother, I'd prefer if we left her in peace.
Which, as has been pointed out, is more than he did!

I'll leave it at that, I don't think I can explain rationally!

Tallisker · 18/01/2026 17:38

I think we’re using a gifted opportunity to take the piss out of him, not his poor old mother.

Quite, and to demonstrate how important it is to use language correctly.

People with their phones out filming in the toilets bother me more than trans people ever will.

Filming in women's toilets usually means there is a TIM in there who shouldn't be there.
