Did anyone notice what one of them said as he was leaving

"You're lucky I don't show you I'm a man"

That's a threat of indecent exposure at best, and rape at worst. Remind me why we want these boundary-violating men in our spaces again.

I took it to be a threat of violence.

I took it to be a threat of violence.

Women start fights. Not as often as men, but they do. It's not inherently male to start a fight.

For someone to show you he is a man, in this context, I interpret that as exposure of his penis, if not the use of it. The penis is inherently and unmistakeably male.

That doesn't make you wrong, because sexual violence is a subset of violence.

SirChenjins · 10/01/2026 21:39

Regardless of whether it was a threat of violence or a threat to show the women his cock, it was a threat - the default position of men is to threaten women who challenge them. Twas always thus.

Well done these women for standing firm, and to the security guards who adhered to the law 👏

Jurassic Park Wow GIF by MANGOTEETH

OMG. So AI can recognise it in a 2d/video and STILL people claim that despite millennia of evolution, women cannot be trusted to believe their own eyes?

Datun · 10/01/2026 23:49

Any woman watching that was just waiting for one of those guys to make that threat. It couldn't have been more palpable.

Personally, I believe the only reason they didn't get more aggressive was because there were quite a few women, with phones out, plus a security guard.

You could feel it coming from the minute the women refused to back down. Written all over the pair of them. Naming their sex, telling them to leave, it was merely a question of when.

whatwouldafeministdo · 11/01/2026 07:45

Those men have an interesting and not very accurate view of what women look like don't they?

Too much porn, probably.

Remind me why we're supposed to think exposing other women to aggressive entitled men with 162% their punch power in spaces deceptively labelled as single sex, who only see women as porn objects, is 'kind'?

Abhannmor · 11/01/2026 08:37

Well done those brave young women. Do these guys really think they're ' passing ' ?

I genuinely thought they were drag queens.

Greenwitchart · 11/01/2026 09:29

I thought this video was incredibly telling...

  • First there were gender neutral toilets available so there was no need to use this one
  • The aggression/verbal threat surfacing at the end shows that in some people no amount of surgery will remove the sense of entitlement and the tendency to violence against women that so many men display.

Good on these women for standing up for themselves.

I think it is sad as well that the loud and entitled monority like that makes it harder for the transgender people who just want to quietly get on with their lives.

Dragonasaurus · 11/01/2026 09:40

That worked out well because there were women willing to stand up, and women willing to support. I wonder how it would have played if one women had called it out without support? Threats of violence? The security guard deciding that it was equitable to allow the men to stay?

Well done those women (including those filming - which tends to reduce the risk of escalation). Do we all need to be more vocal? Especially if we can do so as part of a group

deadpan · 11/01/2026 16:04

Theeyeballsinthesky · 10/01/2026 13:35

The female security guard told them she couldn't do anything because they were "dressed as women".

PriOn1 · 11/01/2026 16:08

teawamutu · 11/01/2026 09:16

I genuinely thought they were drag queens.

They may have been.

Eddie Izzard clearly thought, years ago, that it was entirely acceptable for him to use women’s toilets to change in when casually cross dressing.

Boy George has said he’s often used women’s toilets as they were cleaner or nicer (can’t remember which).

I’ve seen people comment that drag queens have used women’s spaces and it was “all a laugh”.

So it isn’t just transsexuals who have been using women’s toilets for quite a while. It seems that many men thought using women’s toilets was fair game.

And now some of those men are angry because the privilege they selfishly took and got away with is now being discussed and women are objecting.

Women objecting shows them up for what they were and are, which is thoughtless and selfish. They don’t like what they see in that mirror so they argue and object and pretend to themselves that it’s all the fault of the women who are confident enough to say no.

EarthSight · 11/01/2026 16:30

He did that deliberately. Absolutely loving the attention and their distress no doubt. Another man showing his power & dominance.

I'll show you a man

THERE. Right there is a sentence that reveals so much.

That means 'Shut up little woman. I'm a man and I'll make you frightened with it if you challenge me'.

People with their phones out filming in the toilets bother me more than trans people ever will.

You do realise that many trans identified men post images of themselves in women's facilities? It really is not just about being discrete it is about saying " I'll do whatever I want and don't care that this facility was intended for the dignity and privacy of female people"

The one in the pink wig said he'd 'slap the shit out of' one of the women.

The facial expressions of the two men are interesting. Amongst other things they look a bit perplexed. They’ve probably used ladies loos before and not been challenged - so they assumed women were ok with this but more likely that they believed they passed. The black chap in particular when at the mirror - I read his expression as “what is happening? This doesn’t happen…How did they know?” Lol. Probably the drag queen/escort style get up combined with male physique and male pattern behaviour…?

You do you. The rest of us object to men in women's sex segregated spaces and if that involves filming them then I am ok with that.

Disgusting, but commonplace male thug behaviour.
