If BM is in fact male-they need to answer why woman face is acceptable when black face isn't.

Who is ‘they’ in this scenario?

BM literally is female though. She isn't wearing 'womanface'. She's a woman.

This isn't difficult.

What on earth does this sentence mean?

There's no such thing as "cis" for a start. We don't follow that particular religion here on FWS. Other than that, your sentence makes zero sense, sorry. What are you attempting to say exactly?

https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/cis

You’re welcome.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 19/09/2025 11:20

Who is ‘they’ in this scenario?

BM themselves, obviously

Alicealig · 19/09/2025 11:22

hihelenhi · 19/09/2025 11:12

"I'm not one for conspiracy theories".

😂

Course not. Yes, the facts will speak for themselves when what we all know and can very obviously see because we're not cognitively impaired still turns out to be the case.

Very obviously see? The fact someone wears a dress doesn't mean....

Oh it's no sense explaining logic to those that lack common sense and you haven't bothered to look at what anyone's on about so discussing any points would be a painfully futile act. Wait and see, the truth shall set thee free...

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 19/09/2025 11:23

happydappy2 · 19/09/2025 11:22

BM themselves, obviously

Not particularly obviously

is there something in the water today?

Shortshriftandlethal · 19/09/2025 11:23

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 19/09/2025 11:20

Who is ‘they’ in this scenario?

This really is the poitics of the hopelessly confused....of people who grasp onto media content and then do weird things with it because they've not really learned to think critically about any of it.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 19/09/2025 11:25

In what respect would people coming to generally believe that BM is a man set anyone free?

dear god, why am I engaging with this??

MrsSkylerWhite · 19/09/2025 11:25

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 19/09/2025 11:01

And even if BM is a man (she isn’t), so what?

Well, quite. No one else’s business.

hihelenhi · 19/09/2025 11:27

Howseitgoin · 19/09/2025 11:21

Oh dear, you ARE new here, aren't you?

😂

"Cis" is literally not a real thing. It's a nonsensical and loaded term used by genderists in THEIR belief framework. (Similarly to, say, calling non-believers in religions "sinners" or "infidels" ) Which, if you knew anything about us here, you'd know we don't believe or use. It's from your belief framework, not ours. It's non factual. It seems like a lot of the newly emerged nutters on here you have great difficulty distinguishing between "fact" and "belief".

You're welcome.

Shortshriftandlethal · 19/09/2025 11:31

These podcasts and you tube formats are easily absorbed .It is far easier to listen to somone else's take on things rather than reading widely and researching issues for yourself. The problem is these podcasters make their living from presenting listeners with a ready made world view, inscribed with their own unique and individual take on matters.....complete with 'evidence' to support it.....and once you subscribe you are chanelled towards other very similar content.

I've witnessed this with two very close friends....they've both gone down very similar rabbit holes complete with all the same theories and talking points...and at times I have to step back and just let them speak......without response from me......I simply don't know what to say to them. I don't want to say " Don't be daft" because they really seem to believe in this stuff, and i don't want to destroy friendships which I've had with them for over 35 years on account if it.

The obvious difference being that Imane khelif has been competing in a highly dangerous contact sport against female opponents, whereas Brigiite Macron's sex has got nothing to do with anyone else, nor does it have any negative impact upon them.

Edited

It sucks when people tell lies about you. Most of us just have to suck it up. The Macrons are privileged enough to have the money and resources to initiate court action. This is a choice but obviously to win they will need to provide evidence to show that CO is wrong. Personally I think they are making things much worse for themselves.

"Etymology
The term cisgender has its origin in the Latin-derived prefix cis-, meaning 'on this side of', which is the opposite of trans-, meaning 'across from' or 'on the other side of'. This usage can be seen in the cistrans distinction in chemistry, the cis and trans sides of the Golgi apparatus in cellular biology, the ancient Roman term Cisalpine Gaul (i.e. 'Gaul on this side of the Alps'), and Cisjordan (as distinguished from Transjordan). In cisgender, cis- describes the alignment of gender identity with assigned sex.[6][7]"

The sex perception (which most humans learn as babies) and ability to distinguish between the sexes is LITERALLY nothing to do with who wears the dresses, who has long hair etc. It has been replicated over and over that humans can tell which sex other humans are at a glance at a high rate of accuracy (without hairstyles or clothes being part of it). Facial perception, gait... it's cognitive. Hard-wired. From childhood. Babies can do it. Animals can do it. This isn't difficult. How can you not be aware of this?

Seems you've really not done your research here. Ignorant as well as insane.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 19/09/2025 11:34

Yep, the most puzzling aspect of this is why the heck the Macrons are giving it a second of airtime

I’m not convinced they’ve been well advised

CO will never accept any evidence. And why should BM have to provide it?
What has it got to do with CO, anyway...what is the relevence of it?

Because she’s suing for libel.

The dictionary is describing how some people use this term. Nothing more, nothing less.

Doesn't mean it isn't based on sexist ideas that we are free to reject.

My brother is like this. I've learned to filter out statements like "We all know the government is controlling the weather," so I can pay more attention to dangerous fuckwittery such as "Mum doesn't really have diabetes."

Yes, we know what adherents' view of this is. We've had ignoramuses like you on these boards for years trying to "explain" their quasi religious nonsense and why they think the word "cis" is meaningful in some way.

It is still non-factual. Do you REALLY not get this? There is literally no such thing as a "cis" woman or "cis" man. There are women & girls and there are men and boys. Males and females, Regardless of outfit, hairdo, whether they have kids or not, or whether they are married to the president of France, whether they identify as "trans" or think they have some inner gender essence, whether or not they have DSDs like Imane Khelif...

"Cis" is a term from a BELIEF framework which actual feminists like us do not share. You can keep posting links but it will still remain non-factual nonsense. Again, you need to learn the difference between fact and belief.

Thank you for your opinion.

Indeed. But it's one that's backed up by facts, unlike yours.

Not all "opinions" carry equal weight.
