Get the popcorn folks. GLP is getting ready to lose again.

They are going after barrister Sarah Phillimore for referring to a man as a man. They think they are going to lawfare her into silence.

The only thing is other TAs have already tried this on Phillimore multiple times. They went to the Bar Council their claims were dismissed. They all failed. More to the point this ‘Kate’ is the same guy complaining again who already failed. Sarah Phillimore knows the law and likes explaining it to TAs and making them lose. So she doesn't even resent the attempt.

As Sarah has stated "They pick on someone who not only enjoys this but has now a vast repository of knowledge about the law in this area."

Shall we give you a lesson in how quoting works on this forum? Particularly the copy and paste in bold or with quotation marks to format it? That one is used very well to keep the thread readable when posts get deleted, you see. It is most annoying to have a thread rendered unreadable with lots of deletions.

It really seems you don’t understand quoting and you keep making false accusations about what people have and haven’t said. While trying to dismiss what you are posting as being ‘typos’?

It is rather remarkable how full of misinformation and blatantly false information your posts actually are. All your posts are using your own entrenched prejudices about those regularly posting on this board with a view to denigrate them.

It is not working the way you intend it to because no one can sort through your posts to work out the meaning. And when you are clear, you are so obviously wrong that any accusations you post are immediately laughably flawed.

So, this post here uses the copy and paste method of quoting. If you see text bolded in a post, it is often a quote that someone is responding to.

Sometimes people don’t bold but use quotation marks around the reference.

Sometimes people do both. Others will use the quote function, or do a copy and paste quote as well. For accuracy.

Often it will be just part of a post quoted. This keeps the thread easier to read through because you know exactly which part of the post someone is referring to.

It also retains information for when posts are deleted so people understand what a post refers to. Because many times there are really important points being addressed.

This is a handy etiquette that keeps threads easier to read. Hope that helps.

Yes, they exist, but that doesn't allow them to use the services and facilities intended for the other sex. If they stayed out of women's single-sex spaces, services and sports, there wouldn't be a problem, but they don't.

If it's logic Sammybabes16 is looking for, how about this:
Human sex is binary and immutable.

Apart from the inevitable outliers - there are people who claim that the earth is flat - that is a settled scientific fact.
There is no spectrum, there is no way to swap around from one sex to the others, the biological fact of being male or female is coded into your body, and you remain in the sex you were born into, full stop.

Given the observable, proven scientific fact of human sex being binary and immutable, any ideology or lifestyle based on the idea that people can change sex falls at that first hurdle.

How males and females choose to live out the fact of their biological sex in a social context is entirely up to us to decide, and being gender critical, meaning critical of gender stereotypes, is a way to make the fact of being a man or being a woman less limited and limiting.

But arguing against biological reality by claiming that men can become women and vice versa is a road to nowhere.
