Get the popcorn folks. GLP is getting ready to lose again.

They are going after barrister Sarah Phillimore for referring to a man as a man. They think they are going to lawfare her into silence.

The only thing is other TAs have already tried this on Phillimore multiple times. They went to the Bar Council their claims were dismissed. They all failed. More to the point this ‘Kate’ is the same guy complaining again who already failed. Sarah Phillimore knows the law and likes explaining it to TAs and making them lose. So she doesn't even resent the attempt.

I’m looking for SP’s reference to where this person had previously complained to the BSB about her, and I can’t find it. So I’m not 100% sure. But it would be consistent with the GLP’s claims about “persistent harassment”, as they see it.

Just reading Sarah's tweets now. She's brilliant! I love the nonchalant factual way she bats off all this crazy shit, like it takes nothing out of her. I can hear her say BRING IT ON!!

What I admire and respect about Sarah's tweets is her absolute refusal to play let's pretend and avoid or sugar coat hard unwelcome facts. The other day she responded to someone who seemed to be suggesting that it was defeatist and disablist to say that people with disabilities couldn't be high achievers. Unfortunately she chose to illustrate this point with a picture of Oscar Pistorius and his custom-made running prostheses. Apart from the crassness of holding him up as a role model, she was ignoring the fact that everyone's disability is different. Sarah tackled this head on and stated that she had an above the knee amputation when she was a child and the lack of a knee makes a big difference to what she can do, and she has had to learn to accept this and live with it. Her lack of self-pity is remarkable and humbling. I think this is one of the things the gender ideologues hate about her because they are all very keen on making people feel sorry for them rather than working on resilience and just getting on with things.

I really don't want to google as it never ends well but that name seems familiar. Are they the one who stood outside the women's toilets with placards, a cardi, a grey school skirt and long socks after the SC ruling?

I think Naomi Cunningham recently had some complaints against her for misgendering etc rejected by the BSB (and she only knew about them when they were rejected). She posted about it on LinkedIn (where I am fan girl following her, which is the closest to outing myself as GC as I currently feel brave enough to do...).

Is that person not busy with their “bra fit” and gloating over holding up a huge M&S bag?

Also busy telling everyone that he’s going to be ignoring the EHRC statutory guidance and will continue to use women’s single sex spaces.

That would have be a funny court case (if the BSB decided to wade in on what pronouns cant be used to defend or present a case)
