Get the popcorn folks. GLP is getting ready to lose again.

They are going after barrister Sarah Phillimore for referring to a man as a man. They think they are going to lawfare her into silence.

The only thing is other TAs have already tried this on Phillimore multiple times. They went to the Bar Council their claims were dismissed. They all failed. More to the point this ‘Kate’ is the same guy complaining again who already failed. Sarah Phillimore knows the law and likes explaining it to TAs and making them lose. So she doesn't even resent the attempt.

As Sarah has stated "They pick on someone who not only enjoys this but has now a vast repository of knowledge about the law in this area."

why the obsession with this? The law in different countries says different things. This topic has become on obsession with TERFs and has nothing to do with women’s safety.

It’s almost as if TERFs show no logic and refuse to answer simple questions or look at actual facts.

Sammy, I have a son who is in danger of damaging his physical health because he thinks this will make him happier. This idea is insane, but many people have taken it on board. I am still open to reasoned arguments to explain why it is not actually an insane idea, but I've been looking for them for four years and non-one seems able to point me to them. In the meantime, I take what little humour I can find, some of it dark, from the absurdities and even typos I come across.

im sorry to hear this but trans people do exist as do hence fluid individuals. My husband is gender fluid and I also have a cousin who is trans.

I empathise with your situation as it cannot be easy for either of you. But please try to understand things from his perspective. It must be even harder for him. I am not sure how old he is but at least allow him to dress and express himself as he wishes not doing so will just lead to further tensions and affect him.

hormones are a different matter but at 18 he will be an adult. Please try to understand and support him.

Yep I know. I'm glad we can agree on this: transwomen don't like being male do they, but it doesn't mean it isn't true cos reality / biology / law.

trans women exist as do trans men, gender fluid men and women. This will always be the case. Whether they are still men or still women and vice versa is a matter of opinion.

one thing is definitely true though - they will always exist and deserve equal respect and tolerance the same as everyone else. You can accept this or not but this isn’t going to change whether you like it or not

2. Why are TERFs main focus on trans women when the overwhelming vast majority of assaults on women are done by men we know - not some random trans woman
