There have always been men on MN - mostly decent blokes, fathers and grandfathers behaving as they should on a parenting board. But there always been a tedious stream of misogynists on the feminist boards, old fashioned anti-feminists and MRAs. There were often threads late at night which ended up with lots of cake and soup recipes on them before being deleted by the mods in the morning.

What if someone is physically attacking you? Should your rudeness be a consideration, then?
