RMW claims he had never been challenged on his use of women's loos before - well, now he has, and the HoC has acknowledged it was wrong to allow him into those facilities.

House of Commons says sorry after trans barrister uses ladies’ loo

Robin Moira White was attending a parliamentary committee meeting about the Supreme Court ruling that defined a woman according to biological sex

Meanwhile cis men who are predators just pretend to be trans men now, who have to use women's bathrooms 🤷

Then you force cis women to use men's and pretend you're helping 🙄

Go team 🎉

99% of males cannot pretend to be transmen (who are statistically much smaller than the average man, round-faced, slight, wide-hipped, small-handed, and bearded if they want a chance to pass). Meanwhile, 100% of males can pretend to be transwomen. So if we have to allow one of the categories in, I'll take my chances with transmen, thank you very much.

" Why would he ask for directions again when he had already been there once."

Because it was not really asking, it was performative.

Which is why the whole endeavour was designed to go straight in the wank bank.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 15/06/2025 21:51

These people are spiralling aren't they?
It's like a 12 year old who's never had any boundaries and their parents have suddenly realised they've created a monster. So they start saying no, putting in place boundaries, reminding them that other people have rights and they need to learn to respect others and follow laws. But the 12 year old is so self centred & wrapped up in their own sense of entitlement that they can only spit and rage at adults who try to get them to behave in a socially acceptable manner.

The jury's out on whether it's too late to socialise the 12 year old and get them to develop empathy and respect for others. Is it too late for extreme transactivists as well?

Is Reddit broken again? Another one spreading false information, aren’t you bored yet? The law has been clarified, men cannot use the single sex facilities of women, because up until now they have been breaking the law. This includes, but is not limited to -
Beardy men
Tall men
Short men
Bald men
Skinny men
Old men
Young men
Men pretending to be women
ALL men

HTH.

As someone once said

"If you have a penis or have ever had a penis, KEEP OUT"

Simple............

TWETMIRF · 16/06/2025 07:50

You know how a picture paints a thousand words, it's funny how the picture on the toilet door of a person in trousers means men but the one in a dress means women, men who don't feel safe in the gents, men who get great joy from using the ladies, vulnerable men, men who like listening to women piss, men who like to go through sani bins to find freshly used tampons to stick up their arse, men who like playing dress up, men who like to film themselves wanking, men who like taking toilet selfie, men who think they're women, men who enjoy making women feel unsafe and probably some more I can't think of right now.

Omg, you're absolutely right.

As always, we are (were) expected to be mothers to EVERY man in the whole fucking world.....

I just saw this comment in the Times under the Sarah Ditum comment about JKR. The poster is IIRC a transwoman:
"earlier this week two terfs would not let a trans woman use the loo at Portcullis house. She looked like a middle aged woman.
All they had to do is let her use it and guard the door.
Sheer malignant spite"

  1. I'm a middle aged woman. I look nothing like RMW
  2. Do we now have to provide door guarding services too? I'm fecking busy as it is.

I think he did use the toilet though and the women just protected other women by warning them there was an ‘unexpected man in the toilet area’ before they went in.

This commenter appears to have a good a grasp of facts as RMW.

Wow. That is some take!

So middle aged women look like male people.

And if a male person uses the female single sex provision, women have to not just suck it up but also to provide security services at the same time?

The misogyny cannot be any clearer!

RayonSunrise · 16/06/2025 10:03

@Helleofabore Or that particular commenter is under the impression RMW isn’t recognisably male-presenting-feminine. There is at least one transwoman who is quite invested in that belief…

Helleofabore · 16/06/2025 10:13

This is true RayonSunrise. There is nothing quite like having to keep up a pretence that is bonkers that these male people look like 'middle aged women' when you are so heavily and personally invested in that being true.

Datun · 16/06/2025 10:19

Apart from anything else, RMW not only makes no secret of the fact that he's male, he utilises it.

His entire persona is 'trans barrister'.

That commenter is saying we all know Robin is a man, but because he says he isn't, that's the entire point. And women should protect him actually during the act of violating their boundaries??

You've got a snort at the willingness to write that kind of shit down.

Is that Whittle in the middle?

If so, that's three people who have been taking cross-sex hormones for a long time and yet I doubt anyone would have trouble identifying the two males and one female in that picture.

I believe so. To be fair, Whittle probably does just about pass as a slightly-built male, particularly given the facial hair and baldness, but if anyone thinks the other two are women then I have some magic beans to sell you.

Its the discrepancy that politicians, captured institutions and the media refuse to acknowledge - their instinct to promote and celebrate trans-ness and the idea that they are invisible in opposite single sex spaces.

Its more obvious for activists like RMW, but in most workplaces, the same person who heads the trans awareness group will claim using the correct toilet will out them.

Yes it is - the only female person in the photo is the one with a beard.

Shortshriftandlethal · 16/06/2025 11:15

Would you transition if you thought you'd end up as short, bald man with a pot belly and stumpy arms?

Shortshriftandlethal · 16/06/2025 11:17

At least 'Hinge and Bracket' were honest about their performance.

It’s my understanding that that is what testosterone does to a female body. So, in essence every woman looking to transition will end up like that.

illinivich · 16/06/2025 11:38

To be honest, i wouldn't have transitioned past my 30s if i knew what my body would be like on the other side.

Tallisker · 16/06/2025 11:39

Drinkingontheterrace · 15/06/2025 17:35

I work in the HoC and this doesn't surprise me at all.

Years ago I raised the points that their gender ID policies were going beyond the scope of the law and basically got told it wasn't going to change.

Their workplace equality networks were allowed to actively promote Stonewalls position despite the requirement that the institution of parliament and employees need to remain politically neutral.

Their inclusion and diversity training (which all staff were required to take) incorrectly listed gender as a protected characteristic and gave an example of challenging a transwoman in a toilet as discrimination.

I raised this with the union but, whilst I think the training is now correct, I'm not under the illusion it was done to ensure women's rights were protected.

So we have a culture where for the last decade the policy of self-id has ruled and the silencing of staff when this was objected to.

Senior leaders are now tying themselves in knots and are terrified of making a decision (hence referral to EHRC guidance).

Drinking if you are civil service, have you joined SEEN?

MarieDeGournay · 16/06/2025 11:45

This would be unacceptable if it happened anywhere, but it is shocking that it happened in the Birthing Parent of Parliaments😄
