RMW claims he had never been challenged on his use of women's loos before - well, now he has, and the HoC has acknowledged it was wrong to allow him into those facilities.

There's one TRA on reddit who's clearly saying that the SC and the EHRC are following the law as written and to change anything, parliament will have to rewrite the law.

He's not being ignored or down voted, but many just cant get their heads around it. They just dont believe SSE apply to them or that toilets were ever part of SSE.

I think they believe EHRC went too far because toilets aren't id checked and its not a criminal act to use the wrong loos. In a way politicians didnt help by talking about SSE as safe spaces or rape crisis centres. Few referred to toilets as single sex.

So jolyon is giving them a path they understand? They want a time the old ones tell them about when women welcomed tw into the toilets. Even though the men who are telling them this didn't transition until 2017, or they are talking about toilets in gay clubs.

Many years ago, I read a great bio of the Pythons.

There was a bit which explained that in order to head off any danger of prosecution under various obscenity or blasphemy acts, they asked (I imagine paid 😀) well known barrister John Mortimer to review the scripts.

He advised them that a barristers opinion was just that, and as such useless in any legal setting. There was also the added frisson that seeking a legal opinion would immediately remove any defence of ignorance.

I think a big part of this is people saying that sex meaning biological sex only applies to the EA 2010, and that sex in the Workplace Regs means certified sex, because the SC judgment was restricted to only the EA 2010. They can’t see that the SC judgment has implications for other legislation.
