There is absolutely no indicator of actual feminism in a single line of that article.

I recognise your compassion, although I entirely reject the idea of being born in the wrong body - how could we be?

It is difficult and I don't celebrate the inoffensive old school TW being banned - but given we've no way of telling then from the vicious violent misogynists at first glance, a hard no to all of them is how it has to be.

I thought her USP as a shit version of Lily Allen (as if LA wasn't shit enough) was always a weak premise for a career.

I think Lily Allen is pretty funny, the first one I heard was the one where she'd shagged her ex's best mate - I laughed. He deserved it.

The Guardian are scraping the bottom of the barrel a bit, aren't they? Kate Nash hasn't been relevant for years. I had Foundations on my mp3 player back when it came out, and even I can't name another song of hers. It took me a minute to remember her one hit.

Kate's obviously desperate for a headline, so I'll stop rewarding her with attention. But I will say, this might be a good sign. If The Guardian couldn't get anyone else to bash gender critical women in exchange for promotion, the landscape must be changing. Younger artists might finally be waking up to the fact that the trans movement is a wagon full of toxic waste, metaphorically speaking, and they might not want to jump on it.

Last time I saw Kate Nash she was charging about in a leotard on that GLOW series about wrestling.

The acting parts seem to have dried up along with the ability to write lyrics that scan.

She’s right about misogny and all the issues women face from men. But I think someone should do the sisterly thing and tell her the revelation about what transwomen actually are.

I might be biased here due to both my friend and my nephew (formerly niece). I don't mean actually born in the wrong body, I mean FEELING that you're born in the wrong body. Again, a very different thing from my neighbour putting a dress on with a full beard and inviting all the 'ladies' in our block (including me) round for 'girly drinks and a pyjama party, maybe we could have a pillow fight!' and to discuss bloody PMT and childbearing hips 🤣

No one is born in the wrong body. You are born in the body you have. That's it. If it's a healthy body then you should count uouf blessings.

Would you tell someone with MS they've been born in the wrong body, or a teenager with leukaemia, or someone who wants to be an olympian but can't make it? And if not, why not.

Maybe I've been born in the wrong body because I'd love to be really good at maths, but in reality I'm pretty bad at maths, although I pretend I'm quite good sometimes 😄

I thought it was a pretty poor article in that her opinion is presented as universal truth without any challenge or questioning.
