Sarah Jane Baker leads topless protest in London, and threatens named women

Another topless protest today.

SJB with a megaphone:

'JK Rowling - be afraid of us - Kellie Jay Keen - be afraid'
'...you will reap what you sow, and you risk encouraging and reaping the result you seem eager to provoke.'

Just to clarify, that picture of the policeman with the other bloke holding a sign was not the same protest. Was it also from yesterday? Is 'be afraid' a new slogan? Replacing 'decapitate terfs' perhaps, but maybe easier to spell.

JKR has stopped tweeting about the fox killer for now. Plenty of other misogyny to point out like Baker's deployment of the Be Afraid slogan in his speech.

The new trans activist 'Be Afraid' slogan is simply their most honest to date. They've always wanted women scared, which is why they routinely make physical threats. The more interesting point is, why does a violent ex-con feel so untouchable that he can do this in public?

JKR also has tweeted the picture of the Northumbria Police with a TA brandishing the Be Afraid slogan.

Great move, putting your institutional misogyny on public display, northumbriapol
. Legitimising implicit threats against women should definitely bolster our confidence in your impartiality and your willingness to take male violence seriously.

How long till the media pick this up? It has Baker ranting, young women, JKR being threatened and the Prime Minister being targeted too.

I'm curious why Jolyon Maugham isn't amplifying Sarah Jane Baker's brave and stunning protest.

The trans activists are strangely quiet about it, for some reason.

I think every single Scottish MSP should be sent a copy of the video to see what they're supporting, and exactly which men they are demanding are given access to women's spaces.

I'm struggling to believe that Northumberland Police with the 'be afraid' wasn't either photoshopped or whipped out at the last second and the copper wasn't aware what was written on it and didn't have time to react. Either way it just demonstrates that Police officers should, imo, be very, very careful about posing for photos at Pride marches. Although they've made their partisanship very clear and it's probably too late to reverse that particular ferret.

It's got me thinking though <ouch!> I've seen Police in Pride badges, epaulets, laces, helmets, Police cars. I've seen the flags flown outside Police stations. I've seen so many photos, tiktoks of coppers at Pride, dancing at Pride, wearing rainbow facepaint. I'm struggling to recall a single equivalent sign of support for GC women.

I don't actually want to see an Adult Human Female flag being flown at Scotland Yard, though it would be nice. I just want parity.

Yes, I haven't seen any mention of this particular protest on Reddit. Maybe it hits too close to home to see these hulking, thuggish men saying what they are all thinking.

There was a fair bit of dissent when the Scottish topless protest happened. Some people were suggesting that it risked making them look like perverts, fetishists with paraphilias, etc. And potentially harmed the cause of encouraging people to accept these men who take estrogen in women's changing rooms, loos, hospital wards, etc.

Obviously, it helps illustrate everything feminists have been pointing out for years, so personally I'm supportive of their topless protests.

But while we can all have a wee giggle at the daft stuff, SJB is another kettle of fish entirely.

He is unhinged, unstable, aggressive, violent, and presents a risk to everyone around him. I do genuinely worry for the younger or more vulnerable trans activists who may be swept up with it all and not realise either his history or not have proper boundaries to protect themselves. And I also worry for the wee dog, tbh.

ALERT !

The Northumbria Police picture is from 2024 not recently. It was part of a stunt by Harry Miller in disguise to demonstrate that the Police would stand next to people holding offensive signs at Pride.

See original photo here:
Why won’t the Chief Constable hold my sign?
https://thecritic.co.uk/why-wont-the-chief-constable-hold-my-sign/

In a scary example of reality catching up with satire Baker adopted the same Be Afraid slogan that Miller used as a satire.

The problem is of course the TAs will now leap on the fact this photo was part of an attempt to make TAs look bad as an example of a false flag to claim Baker a convicted criminal was justified in threatening people.

There is no point trying to make the TAs look bad through stunts. They will do that themselves. Operation Let Them Speak relies on listening and repeating what they say.

SlackJawedDisbeliefXY · 26/05/2025 14:59

'... be afraid of us ...'

Isn't this the mission statement for every terrorist organization?

@fromorbit The police officer still agreed to do the photo.

Datun · 26/05/2025 17:41

They're walking around with Be Afraid posters, exposing themselves and trying to intimidate women?

I'd like to see some posters wherever these men are, saying 'keep these disgusting men away from us'.

edited to add, and not just as a form of self expression (!) But as a genuine protest sign.

They've taken off the gloves, thrown down their masks, and are now openly threatening women.

We appear to be way past asking them to stay out of our sports

They're already using this to criticise JKR:

That said, it's obsessive ranting creep Aidan Comerford saying this so he's going to paint anything in the most negative light possible.

So what if it wasn't at the latest protest?

A copper put themselves in a position to be photographed as an ally to a political march.

The last time this happened, some Scottish politicians stood in front of a poster saying decapitate terfs.

If you're going to be an ally to a political march that has misogyny as its core goal, go figure.

Mostly, these won't be implants. Take enough cross sex hormones and you don't need implants, they just grow by themselves. They still don't look quite right though, a pair of breasts on a male physique just looks like a bloke with tits.

Entirely agree.

Quite right Datun.

Datun · 26/05/2025 18:12

You could have a zillion transactivists stand in front of women's posters, and this would never happen.

What's that saying about laying down with dogs and getting fleas. (although to be fair, I think that's rather hard on dogs)

I love how JKR's tweet is about him threatening the students!

What are the comments like?

Interesting to see developments re his threats against Starmer - surely that's a news story now? BBC???

Don't hold your breath

cocoaero · 26/05/2025 18:43

He literally looks like a man with moobs, which is what he is, they all look male in that video, their is nothing remotely feminine about any of them, they all just look like unattractive tubby men with unsightly moobs. Lots of guys get their moobs out this time of year so they rather blend in.

eatfigs · 26/05/2025 20:06

WeAreFairCop comments on that sign:

The police were fully aware of the wording. They read it, laughed, and agreed to pose. And the Chief Constable marched alongside the sign as the words were billowed out. She just smiled.

Did the officer know what was written on the sign? Or was he maliciously misled into thinking it was an LGBT supportive sign?

By total coincidence, I happened to be there on Sunday. Just as a simple tourist, I was in Trafalgar Square when the parade passed by and turned down Whitehall. At first I didn't realise what it was about, but then I followed them and caught up as they were waving banners at the end of Downing Street. There was a male voice shouting into a very bad amplification system, and I hardly understood a word that, uh, they were saying, so I missed any gems of wisdom that were offered. There were people with their shirts off, but I couldn't tell who was male, or female, or wishing they were. I stayed at the back and didn't join the crowd.

It was very interesting to see that there was a small counter-demonstration. A few women were holding a banner which I couldn't read from where I was standing, but it was definitely our side and not theirs. One of the women was wrapped in the green-white-purple flag. There didn't seem to be any physical hostility happening, but there was a heavy police presence. Fortunately, they had nothing to do except stand and listen (and come away entirely convinced, perhaps).

Sadly the protest doesn't seem to have garnered any news interest at all. Just a piece in PinkNews.

I wonder why the media aren't picking this up?

Anyway, more topless protests planned across the country:
