Frankly, although I think being banned from women's spaces is a lot of it, a significant portion is just being told no. By women.

I think that's a huge part of it. He can't believe the Supreme Court sided with women, and ruled that they have a right to say "no"" to men. He's furious that mere women were right about the Equality Act and he was wrong. I think he's also pissed that JKR has competent lawyers: How dare she defend her own rights against his male entitlement? That's bullying!

I think his rage at her lawyers is funny. It's like he knows that her lawyers are more competent than he is and there's nothing he can do about it.

Ooh, she's seen it.

'This is a lie, and an easily provable lie. I’ve spent the best part of three decades funding initiatives and donating to charities serving vulnerable women, including domestic violence shelters. The charitable trust I set up in 2000 focuses on alleviating social deprivation, with a focus on women and children, including female refugees. I’ve funded an initiative to help female ex-prisoners secure jobs, I helped fly professional women out of Afghanistan because they were in danger from the Taliban, I’ve publicly voiced my support for women’s reproductive rights, I founded and fund a women-only rape crisis centre and I’ve campaigned for and funded projects to help single mothers.

I myself am a survivor of domestic abuse and sexual assault, as trans activists never tire of reminding me, whether to hope it happens to me again, or assert, as Maugham has, that I was left with unresolved trauma that leaves me irrational on the subject of physical risk to women.

Maugham is imploding in real time because he’s furious the Supreme Court decision put him back in his box. He was wrong on the law. He pretended it said what it doesn’t. The court reaffirmed the sex-based rights of women, but Maugham’s vanity and delusion make it impossible for him to accept (yet another) loss. So his grift continues, his lies grow bigger and more obvious, and now might be a good time for him to reread the myth of Icarus, because nobody needs clairvoyant powers to foresee how this is going to end.'

Excellent.

And again for the people at the back: he was wrong on the law.

They were all wrong on the law.

Not sure if this bluesky post from JM has been discussed. Is this not considered as bringing his legal profession into disrepute? Why was Lucy Connolly punished so severely for her tweet but this scroat is untouched? He's goading the public to commit crimes.

And wasn't Bluesky set up to be the alternative nice version of X? I'm not on it and don't intend to either.

'punishment beatings' 🙄Man's a bloody idiot.

Isn't he just. I'm surprised at Keir Starmer allowing such language. Two tier Keir in action again.

AIBVU to hope he keeps on like this? He clearly hasn't got any wise friend to take him aside and say "maaaaaate"

I doubt KS or anyone in a serious position in the Labour Party is monitoring foxy’s SM activity.

That's what the police and specifically the ones protecting KS should be doing...

He's playing to his audience. The trans tend to see him as some sort of hero saviour.

And again for the people at the back: he was wrong on the law.

Which is awkward when you consider he's not only a barrister, but a KC. According to The Law Society, a KC is defined as "a senior barrister, recognized for excellence in advocacy and often entrusted with complex cases".

I wouldn't entrust Joly with representing me in a game of Scrabble, let alone a complex court case.

Translation: organisations belatedly complying with the clear law, misogynistic activists will try to bully you into continuing to break it.

hm, now if you’re an organisation liable to be sued by one side for breaking the law, and by the other side if you have the temerity to stop breaking it, where’s the smart money going?

“Cis allies too are going to have to start using the “wrong” toilets” (from the image)

Hang on, so is Joly saying that men-men (as opposed to the men-who-call-themselves-women type of men) should also be invading the Ladies?

That seems to be exactly what he's saying.

I don't know if he doesn't realise the takers he'll get for that idea, or if he does realise and doesn't care.
