It would be transphobic to assume a dogwhistle is a dogwhistle as it might identify as a catwhistle and the catdogwhistle owes nobody social or medical transition as they're perfectly entitled to autonomy over their whistleselves and if you call a dogwhistle out when it identifies as a catwhistle then you're a bigot

Judge needs a break when told they’re bringing up dog whistles again.

There is a bit of a trend here with many of these bros who campaign for the men who say they are women. Then tumble weed, or ‘ah well, nasty bad women not kowtowing to men’s notions’ response to women being attacked. Men who say they wouldn’t personally advocate that, but one can’t help but get the feeling (rightly or wrongly) they aren’t too bothered about women being brought down a peg or two if they have such hifalutin’ notions of their sex deserving, and having full human rights.

Just my own personal take on these men.

I saw AHF in person when it was (finally) shown at Edinburgh, I've just re-watched it. It's better than I remembered! At the time I thoght "yeah but we know this". Now I can appreciate it's a sharp, well evidenced and well argued documentary.

My fave AHF quote is Lucy Masoud. Stonewall had arranged a meeting about her with her then-employers the London Fire Brigade. "What Stonewall didn't know is by the time the meeting took place I'd left the London Fire Brigade a week before for completely unrelated reasons.
