I’ve just been reading over MN’s statement & catching up with what’s been covered today. My jaw is on the floor at the extent of infiltration within the Met Police. The layers of it, the casualness of the witness being asked about the trans network group asking for police counter terrorism to monitor ‘anti-trans’ groups aka grass roots women’s rights orgs - who were ‘cleverly acting lawfully’ by meeting, talking, advocating for women’s rights already legislated for.
I have no idea if the case has merits in terms of allowing for harassment of GC staff, enduring a hostile & discriminatory work environment etc. but if the case fails on a technicality, at the very least there should be a lot of reflection & investigation into the rampant misogyny that has been repackaged into ‘progressive’ trans rights supremacy. They dominate so many strands it’s mind blowing.
No wonder the suspect search policies keep coming back after women complain. They’ll always hit into a larping bloke(s) on ‘advisory panels’ given free rein to frame women’s objections as ‘discriminatory’ to the larping blokes.
At least we know now why women’s meetings have been left exposed to dangerous, aggressive, intimidating larping blokes as long as we’ve been speaking up.
