Just wondering if anyone is following this on TT. It’s quite bizarre. The first witness attended the Trans Training session which I gather is where the discrimination stems (see attached statement) and has been questioned by AM the barrister for the police. AM is referencing the Wikipedia page of Kellie Jay Keen as evidence. Apparently wiki is not anti gender critical. 🤷🏻‍♀️. It seems to be covering a whole host of other stuff too - quite an eye opener.

HOW can we get this exposed on all MSM? It's just appalling! And surely HAS to breach any police codes?? How have all our institutions been so captured by this batshit crazy ideology SO EASILY???

NO institution paid for and maintained from the public purse should be so captured but it is especially crucial in the Police. ALL public bodies should be absolutely neutral and impartial.

Did anyone else note that mumsnet was mentioned by the TRAs

Yes noticed that too!

What did they say, I'm sure it was flattering, were they using Mumsnet as an excuse for something.

So the Met, which has an acknowledged problem in its ranks of men who have committed sexual offences against women, decides that as its priority it will send its officers on a course about why women don't have a right to sexual boundaries and labelling any woman who asserts her boundaries as bigoted. Right. Makes perfect sense.

If anyone wants to see the numbers of Met police officers facing allegations of rape and sexual harassment, you can download the spreadsheet here:

Looking for FOI information I came across hundreds of applications written by a parent who is clearly upset by Stonewall.

In trying to find his backstory I discovered this Civitas report from 2022 describing how interest groups and training establishments within the police were of concern….

Wow. That report:
"...Independent advisory groups (IAGs), and ‘LGBT liaison officers... were set up after the Macpherson report (1999) and aimed to increase confidence and transparency through providing oversight and scrutiny from members of the public. • We find they tend to be made up of identitarian activists who are able to lobby the police for their own interests,...."

Always acting against the interests of women and children & eing played out in real life in court

Yep that one stood out 😮

KnottyAuty · 15/03/2025 23:08

And this pp116

"Police performance on a bread-and-butter crime such as burglary is falling, as well as crime in general, while at the same time, the police are actively soliciting reports of things that are not crimes. That is a matter of shame, and it stems
from the imposition of the experts in the College of Policing"

Presumably that set of top notch Babcock training slides the tribunal heard about? The Civitas report suggests abolishing the training academy. In general it is blistering...

And finishes with this suggestion which I think maybe is the key to a lot of things:

"A government review of the Equality Act and the extent to which it fuels political activism within private and public institutions that ought to be politically neutral."

lcakethereforeIam · 16/03/2025 01:08

This speaks volumes about the Met

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/03/15/met-police-sued-999-call-handler-reinstated-issy-vine/

I'm speechless.

NoBinturongsHereMate · 16/03/2025 01:47

So that's:

  • 2 instances of horrendous misogyny
  • 1 nasty bit of racism, with the added bonus of interrupting a colleague dealing with a member of the public just so he could make the racist remark
  • and following a female colleague home
All in one shift.

And the Met thought the panel had only dismissed him because they were feeling emotional.

borntobequiet · 16/03/2025 04:11

Horrified. Dear God, what a shitshow the Met is.

lcakethereforeIam · 16/03/2025 08:26

It says so much about the water they swim in that they dismissed all that as 'feeling emotional'. I felt quite emotional after reading it 😡

MrsOvertonsWindow · 16/03/2025 08:32

Maybe given the levels of extreme abuse of women, domestic violence, rape and murder being committed by men working for the Met this seemed relativley minor? Just searching for reasons why they think this vile man should be working with the vulnerable public. 🙄

lcakethereforeIam · 16/03/2025 08:33

Sort of 'if you think he's bad, you should see the rest of 'em'?

RethinkingLife · 16/03/2025 08:37

I have to wonder if the “emotional” crack is a reference to the number of women on it?

Is it possible the director was biased by more or less unconscious misogyny?

How telling that sacking this misogynistic racist pick was later seen as an emontional overreaction due to the fact that another officer recently kidnapped, raped and murdered a woman. Also shows why no action has been taken against rapist/ murderer officer for earlier reported flashing offenses.

KnottyAuty · 16/03/2025 09:04

Horrible. I’m surprised he wasn’t referred to counter terrorism for surveillance

Did you see the Appendix at the back outlining how much police forces paid to Stonewall over the years. Just weird that so much money has been funnelled towards 1-2 protected characteristics

MrsOvertonsWindow · 16/03/2025 14:02

James Esses has pointed out that the infamous Eva Echo - so beloved by the Met police - is the UK Delegate for the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. He also sits on the Crown Prosecution Service’s ‘hate crime panel’.

As ever, mediocre men with zero knowledge of a subject float to the top, taking places, funding and prestige from women who should be where they are.

I think this is the clip referenced in the Tribunal when EE is interviewing a panel of lesbians - The Met witness said they didn't think that having EE as chair of the panel posed any conflict of interest or problem. See for yourself:

Melanie Newman’s statement. Covers quite a bit more on previous training/events etc.

Justme, its telling me that I don't have access and need to request it (on two devices now) could you post something that isn't on a GoogleDrive?

ifIwerenotanandroid · 16/03/2025 19:54

@Igmum The link at 11/03/2025 21:22 works for me. For speed, do 'See all'.

Igmum · 16/03/2025 20:00

Thanks @ifIwerenotanandroid that's the substack, it works fine, I should have thought of going there - not sure what the Googledocs is

BettyBooper · 17/03/2025 11:24

TT has just started live feed. Is it possible to join the proceedings live, does anyone know?

GufferyWooWoo · 17/03/2025 11:37

I suspect that you need to email the Croydon Employment Tribunals to ask for access to listen remotely.

This is going to be painful:
NC - when looking at stats men are more likely to commit crime?
BBF - yes, depends on type though
NC - yes, one of few crimes where women go ahead of men is non-payment tv license?
BBF - I don't know that
NC - men are more likely to be involved in violent crime? over 90%
BBF - don't know recent stats
NC - not surprising though?
BBF - no NC - do you agree over 90% of sexual violence?
BBF - I would have to look at figures
NC - are you saying that you don't accept it to the tribunal?
BBF - no I am I just don't know the numbers
