The dogs all behave well (bar occasional attempts at food theft obviously) in the soothing Bluestocking environment.

We shall see how long that lasts - hopefully she doesn’t disgrace herself too early on! Very cute when asleep, total whirlwind when awake! She means well, but is very enthusiastic about life so might knock little Colin over/ accidentally knock drinks out of gerbils serving hands etc 🤭

Now they've actually met, Rosy and the quokkas seem to be getting along... Even if the quokkas look like bears with racoon tails.

Fingers crossed she will be perma-asleep in that case! 😄

And don't worry about Colin - dachshunds are almost impossible to knock over because of their low centre of gravity, and if necessary they can do a superb ninja roll.

It is very much to the Quokkas' credit that they reacted to a very sweet Rosy joining the family by feeling a little uncertain and inadequate and then getting over it and being cuddly and playful, NOT (no names, no pack drill) by growling at their human companion for four solid days, then hinting at a rapprochement and, under cover of that, grabbing their human companion's hand and damn near biting her finger off, just to make the point.
