I like that they only OFFER 'a refined silhouette and timeless charm', presumably so one can't sue them under the Trade Descriptions Act if one remains rough, dumpy and charmless, even when wearing their jimjams..

Note the use of 'one' instead of 'you' because of course no Stockinger could ever be rough, dump or charmless; we all have a refined silhouette and timeless charm, in or out of these jimjams, n'est-ce pas?

I Did actually solve my pj problem. They aren't stylish. They are very thin which assists with the middle of the night full on sweat. They are cheapish (Asda) and I bought me enough pairs to only have to do the washing once a week. It does make my kitchen look like there is a glitch in the matrix though when I've hung the washing up to dry!

Well, DH supports Liverpool.

And I playfully said yesterday that if Plymouth Argyle beat them today in the FA Cup that Plymouth would be giant killers. And he was smug enough to say that Liverpool wouldn't even play the first team as they would beat them easily.

Myrtle, we can hear the match from our decking, so we watched it on the telly til the penalty and final whistle, when we ran outside to do a victory dance. Liverpool were smug to field a second team.

To be fair, DH is very pragmatic about the loss. He thought Liverpool played poorly and underutilised the talent they had on the bench.

And as they are on track to win the Premiership and the European Champions League, this loss means they won't have to play the extra games for the FA Cup and can focus on the important games. The Caribou Cup is of lesser status than the FA Cup but they're still in with a chance.
