Don't mind the gerbils, hamster, capybaras, quokkas and other assorted rodents. They're all female, all staff and very accommodating...

I took some for my own Brat (must put a bit in the car) and shared some of it out, but I'm pretty sure there's still some in the stash-bag.

And there, in with all the rest, was the most perfect Green, White, Purple and Orange plaid.

Although that may be ideologically perfect, it doesn't sound very aesthetically appealing to me.

It's actually fairly harmless - the green and white predominate and the purple and orange retreat. Think bog-cotton, bog asphodel and heather against the rushes. And it's handkerchief-weight stuff rather than a make-a-kilt plaid.

It has also vanished off the face of the planet - I was going to photograph it. Maybe it's roaming the house, visiting all the stashes.

The pink is uncannily accurate! I can assure you my skirt was longer than that though 🤣

Oh yes. I got a lovely piece of white cotton with small navy leaves on it just last week. A summer shirt, I think.
And the navy crepe with subtle cats on will make a nice dress.....
And then there's the green tie-dyed silk.....

No, I just go for what grabs me. The green is my most recent purchase so I wanted to try it out.

The green is very nice indeed, but a bit thin, so it needed three coats. Forgive the slightly messy job, that's Magic Tooth Fairy with Believe In Dreams on my ring finger.
