I've been walking the pigs and reading. I wondered what had happened to the dwarf flying squirrels, working in a library seems perfect for them. They can have their nests about halfway up, alphabetically.

Did we establish if they were dwarf flying-squirrels or dwarf-flying squirrels? Because one type can only glide, so will have to scamper back up the shelves. Which they can do, they scamper with the best of them. The other type can fly, well they can pilot a dwarf that can fly, but we'll need to think about accommodation for the dwarves.

Agreed. Can't cope with dwarves too, we'd never get any sleep from the constant mining noise.
Although the presence of dwarves might explain the 42 subterranean levels. Are we unwittingly occupying Moria?

I'm going to pop down to one of the lower levels and have a listen for drums. I'd better take a packed lunch, and a sleeping bag. And some loo roll. I know each level has toilets but I'm not sure how well stocked they are.

At least with dwarves we'd have a use for the cat pee. I believe it's used to dress dwarf bread, before it's used to build a rockery.

And if you drink with the dwarves, you have to look out for flying quaff.
