Newly renovated, beautifully appointed. Food and Beverages, excellent (if sometimes unexpected service), delightful clientele, special accommodation for invalids, pedants, readers and normal people.

Can we have a dwarf called 'Tunnock'? Think of the confusion <happy sigh>

Magpiecomplex · 20/01/2025 18:22

MarieDeGournay · 20/01/2025 18:12

Love it!
I would add

GRAMMAR AND PUNCTUATION -
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KNOWING YOUR SHIT, AND KNOWING YOU'RE SHIT😂

AI has put its own unique spin on that saying. 🤣

aka 'the difference between Artificial Intelligence, and the plain vanilla kind, e.g. a meaningful sentence typed by a human being'😄

Ooh ooh! Sod Kitten, I want the role of Tunnock. I could have a coat with many pockets filled with many Tunnock's products <joins in with the happy sigh>

Magpiecomplex · 20/01/2025 18:52

I'm now humming "Beetle's Coat of Many Pockets" to the tune of Joseph's Coat of Many Colours. Cheers for the earworm Boily.

Sorry! You aren't the only one, I found myself singing it whilst I made a cup of tea just after posting!

AI assumes female dwarves just have PCOS because some of turn have beards. But there is feminism, non-allergenic kittens, cakes and plenty of Tunnocks. Large ones by the look of it.

😍

I feel AI is also channelling Dr Who into those images! Bottom right is how I imagine I'd look playing the doctor! And the bottom middle looks like I'm sucking the life force out of her!

ETA. God that poor woman really has a bad case of PCOS doesn't she. That or she's been playing in Elaine Miller's Merkin box again!

Edited

I'm so glad you're pleased! I couldn't get an image of you with your red carapace.

lcakethereforeIam · 20/01/2025 21:00

Sno-bo White and the 7 dwarves?

BTW, how do dwarves fly? Magic? Jet packs? Rocket boosting turbo-flatulence?

FuzzyPuffling · 20/01/2025 21:19

Even one of the kittens has a beard! 😂

Boiledbeetle · 20/01/2025 21:34

On a completely different subject

This may sound like a cryptic message and it is sort of but going back to a thread from two years ago... I know who the person is who signed in Ilford South.

End of cryptic message

My car has a beard. But then he is long haired. I have now refused to buy him hair products though as he just made really elaborate shapes that wouldn't fit through the cat flap.

(Only part of the above statement is true)

ETA oh for fucks sake! Cat cat cat not bloody car!!

Magpiecomplex · 20/01/2025 21:54

@Boiledbeetle ?

God! Can you imagine trying to find a hat big enough to keep that dry in the rain!

Magpiecomplex · 20/01/2025 22:09

I think I'd go for one of those stylish plastic rainhoods personally. The ones you can tie in a bow under the chin. I won't try making AI do that though, it kept trying to tell me that it couldn't draw people while I was trying to get a bearded car.

Not AI.

So cute! Too cute! I want one!

A thread just came and went (MNHQ suspected its op wasn't genuine) about a DH who kept spiders (common or garden varieties not tarantulas) ...whether that was weird or not, someone linked to a site of a guy who sells various minibeasts.
All sorts of weird and truly wonderful creatures, beyond what the AIs can dream up e.g.

richardsinverts-store.com/collections/stag-beetles

Pwhoar! Rubs thighs (do beetles have thighs?).

They really are quite beautiful.

I nearly didn't click on the link because the words sp-d-rs had appeared in the past and I was <spooky voice> afraid, very afraid..
I did and was amazed at the beauty of the creatures - are they really really real?
But why buy and sell them, why do humans feel they have to own other living creatures?😟

That said, they are very bling, aren't they? I think you look spiffing in your tailored overcoat, Boily. I like your style; sometimes, less is more n'est-ce pas?Smile

I didn't find any explanation as to why he calls his creatures 'Inverts', I thought that was just the likes of me and Stephen GordonGrin

They are real and stag beetles are protected. I saw a pair mating once when I lived in London. They're endangered so there's a campaign to report sightings. Apparently London has one of the largest populations in Europe.
