The “women’s march” that’s all about the men.

I couldn’t see a thread about this, but I’m just here to share how annoying it is to see a so-called women’s march so concerned with placating men. This is the march in January.

As well as the highly predictable “this is for all women” (meaning including the ones who are men) and the ‘we don’t tolerate transphobia’ (meaning any concept of sex-based oppression), the Facebook group is full of posts reassuring men that of course they’re welcome and it’s not all men and obviously “not my Nigel”. It’s infuriating. Why do people do this?

I was just on their IG page and couldn't help but comment under their "we are 100% inclusive". I am now blocked 😂😂

We have now reached the "many men and women are assaulted by women" stage of the discourse

I still find it amusing how they link sex work to being like working at Tesco, believing that men can get abortions and that the female boxer with the high levels of hormones was only criticised because she didn't meet conventional beauty standards and it had nothing to do with the fact that she had the strength of a man 😂😂😂

The boxers Khelif and Lin at the Olympics are not female boxers with high hormone levels. They are both male, with normal testosterone levels for men. That's why they have the strength of a man - they are in fact male.

Oh ok, I didn't read too much about it but remember hearing it was just hormone levels.

I'd love to ask 'how exactly does a man have an abortion?' The mind boggles.

I've just answered lied the questions on the FB page. If I get accepted, I shall just lurk around...

My sister is still there as my mole at the moment whilst I am taking all this further but she is already asking me if she leave as some of the stuff going up is just odd 😂 They don't do much vetting so you will likely get in.

I would join to lurk as well but I don't know if my blood pressure could handle it. These women who pander to men are just unfathomable to me.

Someone in that group is wondering why their petition to decriminalise abortion has got so few signatures. For a start, it talks about pregnant people, rather than pregnant women. That in itself puts me off, and makes me assume that the petition is posted by someone who's quite hard of thinking.

Probably the same person who thought men can get abortions

Someone has asked if it's OK for non binary people to attend. The answer is yes because

" women's rights are directly intertwined with trans & non binary folks rights"
and
"We are marching for rights which definitely extended to and include them!"

It's just a general 'rights' march, really

Given they've locked down their FB, removed X, and are booting out any women who show any glimmer dissent, I suspect their engagement may not be as strong as it was.

Yeah on the event pages it is not looking as popular. They think 15k women / trans will show up but highly unlikely.

Can they be taken to the cleaners for directly discriminating against the women including @TigerLily40 who got kicked out?

Boils my blood these women who betray their own sex class like this.

I am looking into that as a pride parade got threatened with legal action as they refused to allow gender critical women to attend. Instead of allowing them, the pride parade decided to cancel altogether.
