Joining in this time. I always wanted to write a book where the main character was a bit of a bluestocking but never seem to have a decent enough plot. AI image gen gives me this lady with definitely the correct number of regular-sized fingers. I'm not sure she'd literally go around wearing blue but hey-ho.

I am trying to knit baby blankets - my DIL is expecting twins, so I want to knit them each a blanket - I have had two false starts so far - one just looked like nothing, so I found a different pattern, but despite looking good, he pattern had mistakes in it that had me unpicking the edging (all 480 stitches per row of it) over and over again, with more sweary words each time. I’m on pattern no3 now, so fingers crossed it will work, otherwise my last marble will be lost forever.

I have generated my own image with a hamster waiter. This is my first generated image and she looks far too wholesome to be a strumpet, but here we go.

I've got some sort of blind spot with cards, I can never remember the rules of anything other than the most basic whist (I think...). Oh, and snap. Through the years dd periodically teaches me a game which I duly play with her but then forget. She was somewhat appalled at my talent for Cheat.
