Don't feel sad, I'm about to snuggle up in bed and embrace the joys of fluffy bed socks! Which is a very strange mental image for a magpie, but you get the idea.

I need to change the batteries on my torch. But cannot find the batteries in the dark any solutions gratefully recieved took me 10 minutes or type this,,,,,

However, it may be apt to remember this is a pub where any woman who needs a break, companionship - well, anything an ideal pub should provide - is welcome. Pubs should be places where friendships can be formed but not cliques I guess?

I'm ten minutes late with this, but are you typing on your phone? they usually have a torch-light. Even just the light of the screen is enough to navigate by.
I'm sure you've sorted it out by now but I'm programmed to always try to come up with a solution to a problem. Anybody's. Always. Can't help myself🙄

I couldn't work out how to turn on the torch on my iPhone till my dd showed me., searching for 'torch' brought no enlightenment Problem being, it's called a 'flashlight' and it's on the screen pulled up from the bottom that I never use.

I'm slowly trying to build up my AI skills before I finally post my bothy picture.

It's keeping me going as the final vet bill came in for my wee cat today and it was £2987. There go the savings I had for the downstairs shower room. Oh well. Lucky I had savings! Thankfully pensieve kitty is back to full health again. Although I realise maybe no one will have a clue what I'm on about as I posted about this on page 4 or so! Anyway hope boiled is ok and I'll scurry back to my art room to perfect my drawings...

I agree with you entirely i thought it too but have joined and it is a pleasure to de mask. I think it might be an experiment and we should all see how it goes message fuzzy. I will still be here as i love it

I too hope that our much loved Beetle is doing ok and not suffering from a surfeit of Tunnocks. Or worse, a non branded version, scoffed in desperation.

Yes @ErrolTheDragon she's on the naughty step this week, but any time I look at her cute fur face all is forgiven. I'm just glad she's okay. Back to demanding biscuits and gently prodding me with her paw if I stop clapping her for more than 30 seconds. Won't let me type when I'm working so I'm one hand typing and clapping her with the other.

I'm going to read some previous pages of this thread now before bed, incase I missed anything. I always enjoy reading when I get the time! Enjoyed the last threads too.

I have projects like your shower room which keep getting pushed back. Changing the internal doors that I've hated for decades, a garden project which would take a professional a couple of days - they just never get done. We've been doing boring (but v. expensive) building work, & next up is the electrician. I hope you get your shower room soon.

I have a cat under my knees at the moment. She says it's warm and she's waiting for her morning blob of cream cheese. It's apparently nicer than lik e lix, even. I can believe that!

Off to my mums to take her for lunch today as relieved of porch duty (MIL’s daughter is going before carers leave.)

Finding an electrician is proving a mare sat in dark last night

I'm researching hairstyles. I'm going to a new hairdresser tomorrow for a restyle and would like to look less like a wild witch.
Since I had my eye done I have realised I do not have blonde highlights. I am going grey!

I currently have one who is incredibly peed off that I keep inviting another indoors as we are trying to get him to be an indoor cat but each time he comes in, the boss cat gets teary eyed and won't look at me. Future indoors cat keeps crying at the door but current indoors cat flounces each time I bring him in for food. They have in the past shared the end of my bed together so no idea why his nose is comletely out of joint.

And another 8 semi and full ferals who are currently on the sofa on our (roofed) terrace, with a heat mat desperate to go and play but being hampered by the rain chucking it down at the minute. It's a bundle of fluff out there at the moment.

@FuzzyPuffling ha ha i know the feeling, had mine cut recently was weight of my shoulders, have been bottle blond for years !
