Not sure i would want to sit on the first one!

That first one does look a little uncomfortable. Very blingy though!

Boiledbeetle · 13/11/2024 21:52

I met a fellow mumsnetter on my doorstep once, she was canvassing for the Conservative party! I did admit who I was and waved a copy of UTDOD at her so she could go check out how pissed the women on FWR were about things!

lcakethereforeIam · 13/11/2024 21:58

I was thinking about the bothys (bothies?). There's room at the side of the meadow, near the firepit, for a yurt and several large oak trees (I noticed them while walking the pigs) on the flank of Peak Woo that would hold a sizeable tree house. We could have a request stop on the funicular railway, to save walking up hill.

Boiledbeetle · 13/11/2024 21:58

Gah!!! I'm trying to add a cake to my shopping delivery tomorrow morning! And it's refusing to update the payment page and has been telling me for the last three hours to try again shortly.

I'm not getting cake in my shopping tomorrow am I!

Magpiecomplex · 13/11/2024 21:59

Sainsbury's, Boily? It's not talking to me either.

That's really difficult to picture OP. Could you do a diagram?

😉

Yep! At least it's not just me!

Boiledbeetle · 13/11/2024 22:01

I'm glad i actually put a sensible shop in the basket the other day instead of the usual holding basket of 4 pouches of tobacco and nothing else

Magpiecomplex · 13/11/2024 22:03

I'm trying to place my order for Friday. Grrrr...

It's not happening tonight! I think Sainsbury's have called it quits for the day!

I have been thinking about this for a while but am worried about a pile on.

I think we are lacking in diversity. Apart from the quokkas.

So to that end I have brought in a few capybara

Boiledbeetle · 13/11/2024 22:20

I'm not sure if I'm more pissed off about the cake or the fact that I've a money off coupon that I needed to stick on the order as well, which It accepted before It crashed! It better not decide next week I've already used the code!

That will be because you either get the bus or walk I presume. They are employed at the Bluestocking as car valets so you've probably not noticed them.

Admittedly they are a very very VERY recent addition to the workforce!

I didn't draw a yurt, I'm not entirely sure I know what one is. Do the capybara (is that one of the words like sheep?) know any carpentry?

However, if I ever turn up with this expression on my face do not let me near the circular saw!

In that case, don't trust the capybara with anything you value. I teach BTEC level 1 students, among others, so I know whereof I speak. 🤣

Thoughts and prayers! You're a braver woman than me! I remember us lot at BTEC level 1, we were rather feral!

Magpiecomplex · 13/11/2024 22:56

Feral is a good word! I mostly teach level 3, they're almost civilised, for teenagers.

Well the seagulls were crap as security, so Tina seems better suited

I felt sorry for the poor guy who had to watch us operate the woodworking machines, he was constantly forced to suddenly start running rather quickly towards at least one idiot each lesson
