The original premises are getting crowded, we need to expand.

Welcome all women, and well behaved animals.

I've got some decaf which does actually taste like coffee, if that'd help you survive large scale testing, SDTG. (It's a brand called Raw Bean, which is daft cos it's definitely roastedConfused)

Let's just hope the sugar rush from the biscuits cancels out the caffeine.

I fear they work synergistically together.

@inkymoose I need to find the creepy switch. For me, Copilot goes into cute overdrive at the drop of a hat.

I loathe cutesy. I think it's the default setting.

Anyway, what do you think of this portrait of you? I'm sorry but you seem to have an assistant. Feel free to ignore them

Oooh - that sounds interesting, @ErrolTheDragon - I will have to get some of that.

I have cut down to one cup of coffee a day - but it is a cup that holds over a pint of coffee!

The knitting group I go to used to meet in a cafe/shop - they charged us a fiver each for the morning, but for that, we got lots of tea and coffee - the coffee was wonderful, and came in normal and nuclear (I drank nuclear). One morning, I was the only coffee drinker to be there, but the lovely lady who ran the place still put out the massive cafetiere of strong coffee and a normal sized one of normal strength coffee - and I didn't want it to go to waste, so I did my best to drink all of it - dh had to cut off my supply when I got home!

KitKats work as a straw because you can suck your coffee or tea through the wafer part, if you bite both ends off - and the chocolate is thick enough that it doesn't collapse in on itself. I assume that TimTams work similarly - you have to suck hard to get the drink through the biscuit, I guess.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 04/09/2024 12:50

I've ordered a bag of the Raw Bean decaff to try - thank you @ErrolTheDragon.

I actually have a dragon called Errol - he is a white, jellycat dragon, named after the dragon in the Discworld books - I assume you are too?

Dear Errol, I found this image of you while looking through the archives. Is it accurate? Of course I will delete it at once if not.

I was wondering if this explained where Steve the seagull had gone to

but it seems to have happened before he went missing.

Loving the chocolate, sweets and saga.

Hum, well the original Errol is a runty swamp dragon but with an inherent grasp of chemistry and engineering allowing him to become rocket propelled rather than flame throwing. And definitely male. I think that image might be more like his lady-love (confusingly known as the King because sexism)

Oh, I like that very much! Thank you!

My very first attempt at AI was a self protrait. Very true to life😁

I have just finished a glass of the Margaux. This is definitely not the house claret. It doesn't have a bouquet, it has a perfume. It's like standing in a flower meadow just after a summer rain shower. It has a gorgeous taste of dark berries and the aftertaste is amazing with an almost chilli-like spiciness and dried herbs flavour. Don't ask me which herbs because I can't tell them apart. Drink it with anything you want as you won't remember the food anyway.

How wonderful. Is there any left?

JanesLittleGirl · 04/09/2024 13:56

It's the same bottle as yesterday's one. There are always 2 glasses left in it no matter how many glasses you have already poured.

lcakethereforeIam · 04/09/2024 14:11

I've just tried some from the bottle, I'm not a big fan of red like chewing on an old teabag, I got dandelion and burdock. Very refreshing.

Off to neck some with my late lunch....
I will be fit for nothing this afternoon, but it might help with the backache.

I asked the AI to write 'Colin' & it came up with the greeting all by itself. I thought it outstripped even 'Get Welly Soon', which is a classic of the genre.

I'm afraid to me it sounds like 'herpes' - so a wish that the recipient catches herpes.

I suppose it could be related to herpetology - wishing that the recipient get an amphibian or reptile as a gift.

ErrolTheDragon · 04/09/2024 15:59

I thought perhaps it should have been 'harpy' , it's used as an affectionate term on FWR.

OP posts:
DeanElderberry · 04/09/2024 17:34

Are those people who come on and ask us daft questions harpytologists?
