The mystery continues. Will it be Brighton, Birmingham, Bristol or none of the above?

For anyone who is interested this is quite a useful link, though suspect it isn't yet up to day, eg Julia Long is not listed.

But for each region they have a list of seats who the candidates are by main candidates and the final column "other".

Very quick to skim that column for anyone who has time later today or tomorrow.

She lives rent free in so many heads! 🤣

Another KJK thread.

How novel.

CassieMaddox · 07/06/2024 19:20

No, just was interested to see what happened and the last thread finished before she announced. I thought others might be too.

I am puzzled why she's gone Bristol Central, again I doubt either Debbonaire or Denyer will do hustings so there won't be much coverage. Students are on hols so limited click bait. But I guess it will become apparent. My money is still on satisfying the colossal "never lose" ego by trying a marginal-ish seat.

NoWordForFluffy · 07/06/2024 19:22

She's not doing it for votes, she's doing it to bring attention to the cause. How many times?!

CassieMaddox · 07/06/2024 19:27

I'm looking forward to seeing how much attention she gets outside the usual circles.

Say no more. Embargoed.

Ramblingnamechanger · 07/06/2024 20:32

It will be good to see and hear Julia Long out there!

cariadlet · 07/06/2024 20:40

KJK might be standing in Bristol because the Green candidate is a raging TRA.
I would have loved to have seen her on a hustings with the odious Lloyd Russell Russell-Moyle but of course he's no longer standing.

Julia Long is standing in Bexhill and Battle.

Would be kind of fun to see her go at Carla Denyer, but idk I'm worried all the young lefty women I keep coming across here who are like this 🤏close to peaking will be running back into hiding.

Can only Cassie is bang on about the timing etc !

I watched Carla Denyer on the leader debate and thought she was pretty cool. It's nice to see a young woman as a political leader. Plus she owned Farage so that was a bonus. **

Lisa, Party of Women , Barrow and Furness

I marched for women’s rights, demonstrated at Greenham, campaigned against sexist language… then relaxed. Thought women’s rights were won. We were wrong.

Some men now insist they’re women, just like us. So I am standing as a parliamentary candidate in Barrow and Furness for Party of Women. Why that party? Because it’s the one that tells the truth - that men cannot be women, no matter what they do, and women can never be men. We put it bluntly: no woman has a , no man has a vagina.
Telling children that they can change sex is another abuse of the truth.

There is no such thing as ‘non-binary’.

Where I live there are many who are agree but are scared to speak. Party of Women speak the truth out loud. I’ve been a teacher, worked in advertising and marketing. Now I write about persuasion and how people can be duped - but usually not forever.

I am campaigning so that people can speak up unafraid, so that children learn the true facts of life, not some fantasy, and to make sure that politicians also acknowledge the truth. A woman is an adult human female and a man is an adult human male. No surgery or drugs can change that.

Party Of Women Sheffield Heeley candidateParliamentary candidate for Sheffield Heeley constituency

Party of Women manifesto;
No Woman has a p*nis
No Man has a vagina
Non-binary is nonsense
Transitioning children is profound abuse

I'm Louise, Sheffielder, mum, cleaner, not a politician

Men are claiming to be women and are being believed and continuously platformed by the captured media, institutions meant to protect us have sided with these men again and again, women are losing the right to say NO to a man in all our sex segregated spaces including prisons. Children are being groomed at school to believe they may be "born in the wrong body" and that dangerous drugs and cosmetic surgery is the answer. I'm standing to end this and i need your help.

I'm standing to tell the truth, i wont be swayed, compromise is not an option "men are not women even if you squint" - Rex Landy

Its 2024 and telling the truth has become a revolutionary act, so be it

@CassieMaddox I watched the debate last night and also thought that Carla Denyer did ok (apart from looking at her notes too much) but I'm in the Green Party so know enough about her to dislike her.

She's part of the authoritarian TRA clique.

Jude English, one of the GC co-chairs of Green Party Women, is currently suspended.

The complaint against her is because she was in a Green Women's Declaration webinar with Sarah Phillimore and because she wrote a blog for the GWD website about being a lesbian. The complaint said that Jude's article was transphobic because she doesn't think lesbians should be expected to like girl dick.

Jude was a Green Councillor in Bristol and has known Carla for years but has been given no support from Carla.

Carla has ignored emails from Green Party Women about Jude's suspension and about the lack of an official Green Party response to the Cass Report which looked at the failures at Tavistock.

I find it very frustrating that Bristol is one of the Green Party's 4 target seats but Sheffield is not. The Greens had a really strong chance in Sheffield where Alison Teal (long serving councillor, popular environmentalist with cross party personal support) was elected as the prospective candidate. But the Party chose to suspend Alison, leave her isolated for 19 months and not target Sheffield.
