I've only read about this on Twitter so there's a chance this is being taken out of context, but it looks like Let Women Speak were part of Tommy Robinson's rally in London this past weekend:

This doesn't sit right with me at all. I've been to LWS events and thought I knew what they were about. I've argued against the guilt-by-association tactics that some activists use against LWS when male intruders have turned up to the events, like the neo-Nazis in Melbourne.

But here we see the opposite, LWS deliberately attending far-right fascist marches. This seems inexcusable to me.

Do Norwich UEA know that she just got a settlement from Australia for saying the same?

People with a lot more of an axe to grind have made an absolutely stonkingly lucrative sideline suing over stuff like this.

I just thought it was interesting. I wasn't trying to start anything. My knowledge about this sort of stuff is pretty minimal although I am trying to educate myself.

I think TR is a git & thug. He may still have made a film with some good points in (much like Matt Walsh did).

I have my own feelings about KJK who called a friend of mine a “Hamas-loving socfem” on Twitter, based as far as I can tell on her describing herself in her bio as a “socialist feminist” (certainly not a Hamas supporter in any way: but she had disagreed with KJK). This is irresponsible at the minimum.

But I’m going to the Norwich LWS (health permitting) & hear what women have to say, & will say hi to Aja if she’s there.

If people can’t tolerate them, then, by all means, don’t go.

Ensuring children have access to age appropriate material is not 'banning books' (In the same way as restricting the same of alcohol to over 18s is not 'banning alcohol').

Attending a pride rally in fetish gear is not equivalent to simply attending a different flavour of gathering. It's the fetish gear in public that some here take issue with.

It really does fascinate me how far right racists think their views are mainstream and that anyone who dislikes them must be far left. They just can't countenance that most people don't think like that.

I have a problem with fascism in public. And racism in public. So yes, it is equivalent to me.

One could argue that bondage gear is "just another flavour of clothing". If one wanted to minimise something most people find repugnant and ethically indefensible.
