Claiming constructive dismissal for GC beliefs.

ERC CEO is a well known transwoman know for controversial "reframe your trauma" remarks.

MW is not on the list of witnesses that TT posted. Looks as if KM is representing management?

https://tribunaltweets.substack.com/p/adams-vs-edinburgh-rape-crisis-centre

MW not on the witness list and would be banned from observing if MW was on the list (no pronouns here).

I'm long serving TT - it's amazing how often the leader of the mob or worst offender does not evidence. It's up to the respondent who gives evidence.

Thank you @Mmmnotsure you've been posting like a demon GC woman. 😁

I thought 'R' meant the Rape Crisis Centre, may be wrong though.

Yes, R is for Respondent, ERCC.

Justabaker · 17/01/2024 13:22

Not sure about Scotland. In E&W the evidence 'bundle' is available in the hard copy in the tribunal room. Often binders and binders of it. I think the 'bundle' in Mermaids vs LGBA was in boxes and was rolled in and out on a little trolley of its own. This is as much use as a chocolate teapot when live tweeting because you couldn't possibly look at stuff AND tweet. And when court is not in session everyone is kicked out of the room.
So yes 'available' but not accesible.

Trolleybundles! Wow.

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 17/01/2024 17:05

Thank you, Tribunal Tweets. I'm so grateful for the commentary of this case, and all the others.

I'm also in awe of your WPM and spelling.

Datun · 17/01/2024 17:36

Their approach was that we would only consider AB in this and the context - the service users- wouldn't be considered.

I still struggle to get over the absolutely fucking naked egocentricity of this hopelessly selfish ideology. It's a fucking rape crisis centre, you awful, self-serving, psychopathic, gaslighting, disgusting arseholes.

Datun · 17/01/2024 17:36

<breathes>

Rainbowshit · 17/01/2024 17:42

I really hope the press pick this up. Some of the testimony is absolutely shocking.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 17/01/2024 17:51

It doesn't sound like "AB" is best suited to working with vulnerable women.

Rainbowshit · 17/01/2024 17:52

And what can we do about this wholly unsuitable person (can't say what I really think as already on a warning) heading up rape services in Scotland?

They very clearly cannot put their personal biases aside to do the best for raped females.

OP posts:
Boiledbeetle · 17/01/2024 17:57

All caught up.

What an absolute shower of shite ERCC are!

BoreOfWhabylon · 17/01/2024 18:02

What was meant by the discussion around reparation being almost inevitable?
Is it an acknowledgement that ERCC is at fault?

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 17/01/2024 18:06

reparation = compensation?

They discuss that before hearing cross examination?

Datun · 17/01/2024 18:14

What I really hope isn't just that Roz gets compensation, although, primarily, I fervently hope that. Expect it actually.

What I would really also like to see is an acknowledgement that a female only rape crisis centre is perfectly normal, usual, and desired by almost all women.

And that any attitude to the contrary is not in women's interests. Men's maybe, men who think they act like women maybe, but not women's.

Me too.

And they shouldn't have to rely on philanthropic funding, the government and local councils should be funding these centres.

This is lovely and not surprising. She seems incredibly principled and it's clear she really cares about survivors.

I hope RA is reading this and knows how many women are sending her our very best wishes.

I can probably get the link to this thread to her.

Tallisker · 17/01/2024 18:55

That would be great if you could, Equa.

I'm sure it must help to know how many women, mostly strangers, have her back.

LWSnow · 17/01/2024 19:07

Having read the Bailey and Forstater threads I am still shocked by what has happened to public institutions in every sector.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 17/01/2024 19:18

What really stood out to me is MW's rationale for why they shouldn't refer to Beira's Place.

RA: [trying to remember] There was a reponse from Mridhul agreeing it was a terrible thing that Beira's place was open and that it was an eg of a old-fashioned white feminism, that JKR was a beneficiary of capitalism and we wouldn't be passing on info c BP to survivors cos it was unregulated and therefore ERCC couldn't be sure of the service provided.

Faux concern for survivors that it was "unregulated" when the "regulated" services all are pressured to accept males and can't openly admit that many women want female only space. "White feminism" my arse.

teawamutu · 17/01/2024 19:24

A rape crisis centre that gets pissed off when more provision opens, because the women Centre One has turned away because they can't pretend that men are women might be helped by Centre Two.

Evil cuntweasels. Get rid of them all, and bring in staff and leadership that give a shit about women. MW and MW's nasty little cronies should never be allowed near women's services again.

Clabony · 17/01/2024 19:25

I'm following, but lost for words I'm so angry at what I'm reading.

Poinsettiasarevile · 17/01/2024 19:47

Jesus fucking christ. This is so deeply sinister. A woman asking questions on behalf of an abused woman seeking to use rape crisis services is hounded out of her role for asking questions. It is so clear just how little they care for the views and needs of service users. Gender bollocks comes first at all times.

When Germaine said we don't know just how much men hate us, i wonder did she have this in mind?

Froodwithatowel · 17/01/2024 19:48

I know what you mean. At times I think I'm getting too cynical, that it can't really be as bad as it all seems. And then more evidence comes in and I realise I haven't yet been cynical enough.

The way things are going, this belief system risks making itself incompatible with holding posts of public service or responsibility. Because its demands are just not compatible with the most basic standards of equality, inclusion, tolerance and requirements of basic ethics and principles. You cannot serve this belief and anything else at the same time.
