The question asked in Thread 1 has still not been answered satisfactorily, and so the quest continues to discover which side of the fence Tunnocks are on or whether they are in fact sat atop the fence throwing Snowballls and Tea cakes at both sides.

I have no idea where the link below will send you. hopefully to the original thread and at the start, but it could be a completely different thread half way through. I'm too full of sugar to concentrate properly!

Boiled you might want to take a look at the latest Jo Phoenix tribunal thread, as several of the posters have been inspired by the latest batch of witnesses to indulge in some filking. There was also a Tom Lehrer elements song tribute on thread 4, but I can't remember exactly where that was, and it'd be unreasonable to expect you to comb through all 1000 posts.

I'm pretty certain you were tagged @Boiledbeetle but I think @bencooperssupportwren did the elements song. There were, at least, two Model of a Modern Major General pastiches that were brilliant!

Just getting myself a snack earlier and I think marmite jars only exist in two states, full or with a thin scraping at the bottom. I don't think I've ever noticed one in a transitional stage.

I believe this hasn't been noted down anywhere else, and I think it need recording somewhere.

I can't find an appropriate thread, but I've just come back from clothes shopping with the hooliganette. In Primark (Newcastle) the men's changing room was shut and a sign said:

Women only changing ground floor. Gender neutral changing Lower Ground.

I had a look, the tra popped up on the trivial laser hair thread yesterday. He was being comprehensively schooled from what I saw. I figured my comments would just get lost and be superfluous anyway.

I think I need to stop banging my head against his brick wall. It’s not like I’m going to change his (sweet, little, lady) mind.

I can't be arsed with bollocks like that any more @SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius after all these years it's like fecking groundhog day reading the same wibble over and over.

@IcakethereforeIam Just for this thread! I managed to mess up my name setting but didn't realise until I started posting, and then there was no changing it. It's really annoying isn't it? Makes me twitch. And now I seem to have put a huge gif on here which won't edit away.

Definitely more Tunnocks! And a slap for me because I haven't managed to stop myself engaging on the TRA thread.

I am a knitter and crocheter, and I've just started knitting a baby blanket - one of ds2's friends is expecting her first baby, and I offered to knit a blanket for him to give her (before he heads off to do four years teaching in Australia - gulp) - and he chose a deep red for the yarn, which has caused huge consternation amongst the elderly members of the knitting group I go to. They are horrified that I'm not using either pastel pink or pale blue - or cream, if the recipient doesn't know the baby's sex. I think a red blanket will start the baby off well on a path of being GC.

It sounds lovely. Perhaps with gold accents, to tie in with the Tunnocks theme?

Red is a great colour. Warm and cheery.

MiL crocheted a baby blanket for our DD. It was purple, white and green. It meant nothing to me at the time and MiL didn't say anything. Just saying.

I have achieved greatness today!

I mean i don't plan on telling you what greatness I've achieved, but the book moves a step closer to being a thing you can hold in your hands!

All yesterday's greatness was equalled out today by a day of banging my head against a brick wall.

My laptop is refusing to do what i want it to do! I've had to switch back to the old one!
