And then he joined Brewdog and was in senior roles for 8 years while they had a host of sexual harassment claims against the founder, accusations of workplace bullying and failing to adhere to H&S guidelines.

Reminds me of my teenage years when entitled men used to call anyone women who turned them down lesbians.

It’s not really changed in 30 years except the entitled men are now wearing dresses and not Levi’s

Wasn't Elon Musk offering to fully fund cases? Does this fall under an area he might want to cover? Certainly an excellent test to see if the Equality Act is fit for purpose. In any event I'd happily contribute to a crowdfunder. Chances are they'll back down once they have had legal advice.

Sexual orientation is a protected characteristic. If they're going to ban this speed dating event because they're lesbians isn't that direct discrimination?

After my first few posts on MN some months back, it got pointed out to me that some TRAs on Twitter were fuming that a man ie me, could ever take the female/GC side. They were angry, but beyond that, they were incredulous that a man would pick the female side.

I learnt quite a bit from reading their insane witterings.

Most of all, it reiterated the Jo Brew substack that I read, that this toxic mens right movement has latched onto, infiltrated, and powered the mistaken belief men can become women.

A cry baby alt incel tide that by streamlining into social justice activism, is polluting our civic discourse.

This lesbian speed dating debacle is just the latest example.

Ugh, this is same old, same old.

But, on the Sex Matters principle of "Let them speak" let the trans-identified men into a lesbian speed-dating event, and ensure by the "luck of the draw" that they only get to do their 5 minute chat with other trans-identified men.

That might be the only way the poor things will get a match ...

I can't believe we fought for homosexuality to be fully respected only for lesbians to not be allowed to congregate if men are not allowed in.

Next stage should be sending some solicitor's letters to Stonegate group just as in the case of the Joanne Cherry event.

If Stonegate don't back down they could get sued and I think they are screwed as they are clearing refusing to host an event for homosexuals just because they are homosexual. No way is that legal.

Oh interesting it seems the College Arms in Bloomsbury is in fact in Kier Starmer's constituency. Since he has recently worked out women exist does this mean he knows lesbians exist too and they can date each other? An interesting question for interviewers.

Not surprising considering who is in LGBA. Loads of older pre-TRA Stonewall activists. The ones who won gay rights first time round.

Of course those activists are old pros at fighting homophobia. Which is why we can expect Stonegate to either back down, or have to put up with a tonne of bad publicity.

In the US Michfest and it's demise was the harbinger of the destruction of the Lesbian community aided and abetted by the gay gender studies graduates who threw away the beautiful tribute to Sappho; 'Lesbian' for inclusive 'Queer'.
At least young women now are standing up and rebuilding and LGBAlliance are there with the knowledge and experience to help them.

Honestly I think we need 40 minute daily sessions where women practice yelling;
"Fuck off, this is a woman only space. Fuck being kind."

What I don't really understand is this.
dont TWAW seek validation as women ? And to my mind wouldn't this mean that, in their minds, that the ultimate expression of femininity and "passing" would be to be to be wholly accepted sexually as a woman by a straight man ?

so why do they want to be lesbians ? Why aren't straight men getting gyp for not wanting to have sex with TW ? I don't see any rage

But can you imagine his sad little face at the end of the evening when he realises that no one, absolutely no one , has indicated that they want to meet him again? Amongst the lively buzz of women having a good time he realises that no one has spoken to him all night, even when he offered them tampons and a lend of his lip liner in the toilets . Can you envisage the lonely walk home, opening the door to his empty bed sit, staring at the discarded outfits strewn on the floor, remembering the excitement of getting ready just a few hours previously , carefully applying the makeup, getting the contouring just right, choosing the right clothes, (not too tarty, but just a bit revealing) , practising his one liners to make sure they hit the right note…… and all for nothing because those trans hating lezzers don’t appreciate men with dicks sorry , othered women. Terfs the lot of them, deserve to be punched…….

I remember feeling at the time I never wanted another guy to ever go thru what I did that night.
