I do wonder if usually the content AC puts on line either only gets positive comments from within the community, or gets ignored (there were a lot of tweets with no traction at all). Therefore maybe that equates in some people's minds to people not actively disagreeing with AC 's behaviour being equal to a green light to carry on.

Then suddenly you send a tweet that's seen by over 4 million people and the nice cosy internet that either agreed with AC or ignored AC is suddenly this onslaught of what people actually think about the way AC conducts ACself in public and how AC's behaviour has been put up with until now through people being too scared to say anything.

Its like no one commenting on someone being trans, because it doesn’t need commenting on, and people assuming that it means they have passed.

In women's football, if a player is under-18 she has a different changing room to the rest of the team (most of whom will be in their 20s), because of safeguarding. If the manager is male, he won't be allowed into the changing rooms to do his team talk. It does beggar belief that this person felt it was appropriate to walk through a changing room of girls getting changed for swimming. Just so horrible. But of course, that's part of the fun, isn't it?

Yes, it's certainly an interesting fight to pick.
To be fair to Robin, wandering around does have different connotations. However, the headline referred to "wandering through". And yes, the newspaper talked about stopping officials (of any sex) walking through. However the paper also went on to say that no separate facility was needed because Anne wasn't getting changed. By implication this means that Anne would have needed to be separated from the girls if that were the case.

Either way, Robin is picking an odd fight around the semantics of words. The net effect will simply be to perpetuate the story for longer and raise its profile higher.

It's almost ironic how unfair it must feel when the subtleties of a minor language tweak are used in a way that works against you.

I can't wait to hear that Anne being on the, er, 'milf milking masturbation' is just them demonstrating an interest in the benefits of dairy products.
