I see the organisers of trans pride have admitted their adherents have a lot of anger. Good to see they are acknowledging the violence in their movement

The London Trans Pride speakers demonstrated at Wellington Arch in London’s Hyde Park Corner on Jul 8. There were 10 scheduled speakers of which Baker was not one, organisers said. She instead took to the stage during the “open-mic” portion of the event.

However, organisers said that while it does not condone violence, many speakers at the event “hold a lot of rage” which they “have the right to express” through words.

A London Trans Pride spokesman said: “Sarah and many others in our community hold a lot of rage and anger and they have the right to express that anger through their words.

“We do not condone violence, we do not back a call to arms for violence of any kind. We do condone righteous anger and the right to the free speech that was expressed yesterday. We have and will continue to march in peace.”

Well that's okay then (No it fucking isn't. It's condoning the encouragement of violence against women.)

They'll be happy for Posie Parker and other women to exercise their right to free speech at let women speak events then? Or is free speech only allowed when it's men inciting violence against women? Unbe-fucking-leivable.

This is what happens whennone group of people get all the protection and, therefore, all the power.

Well it's just violence against women innit. Women wouldn't get punched if they just shut the fuck up? And so on and so on. For centuries.

I still can’t get over that London Trans Pride think it’s “righteous” to express trans anger against women, who are simply trying to defend their rights, in this way. Feeling quite angry myself tbh but I doubt I’ll take a loudspeaker to central London and start demanding violence against TRAs. Just as well as I imagine I’d be arrested pretty quickly. Nice double standards there Met Police, I’m sure your attempts at building women’s confidence in you is going down a treat.
