Readers: the Facebook group to which you have been referred to is one who has been well known for publishing a bullying sin page on a feminist website. Where all these misrepresentation, fucked up bad interpretations and asymmetrical treatment compared to ‘approved’ feminists have come from.
We encourage you to go and see that page in action. Please, please do.
Feel free to come back and ask posters on FWR how well the evidence stands under scrutiny. Like the misrepresentation of Pal Steigen’s conference that I posted about that seems to have been completely ignored even though it drove a fucking truck through the accusation made by this poster.
So yes, go and see the pettiness, the infighting there to if someone doesn’t toe the group’s narrative. You think here is bad, there they will remove you from the group if you don’t follow the line we have been told.
“It's painful watching the posters contort themselves so as to not to face the possibility that KJK may not be who they want her to be.”
This poster has their own prejudice against Kellie Jay Keen as was very clear from the very first post. No one who was going to discuss this issue with any rationality would start the thread so patronisingly, and hostilely (likening KJK to Hopkins was an indication this destination via the AGCL was inevitable).
This poster has announced they are flouncing.
Because instead of evidence, they bought crap. And not even new, just the regurgitation of tropish accusations.
”I'm worried that it's not going to end well,”
I am calling bullshit on this too. I don’t believe this OP even cares. All they wanted was another opportunity to shame a woman banned from this platform and no even in the same time one to answer for herself.
“and it's a real shame we can't discuss that here in good faith.”
And again. This poster never posted in good faith. Good faith would have meant a completely different title, and completely different opening post and then not claiming this victimhood when women rightly felt patronised, censured and lied to by this poster. And it was a lie. They never had the intention to engage proactively.
