What if you're all wrong about KJK? Even her own security have serious concerns

Her own security are saying she's courting trouble for views, knowingly putting them in danger, that she has no human connection with people but her fans don't notice as they hero-worship her and see what they want to see, and that the end game is she's after becoming a talking head in the US, and that SFW women are just pawns she's using to get there.

She seems more and more like a Katie Hopkins type who's leeching off our movement.

I used to love her, before I get accused of jealousy. I still love the approach of platforming women who don't usually get a chance to be heard.

But actual nazis are now turning up at women's rights events - precisely because KJK refused to denounce them and has been courting the far right for ages. It's not a coincidence.

What does she have to do before women realise she's using us?
At what point do women accept KJK is toxic and damaging our movement?

If those closest to her have serious concerns - shouldn't you?

I think there’s quite a bit of difference between spending time with someone unpleasant as a requirement of one’s job (presumably being compelled to do so?), and a choice to do so as an activist. And if the Conservative MP in question had said:
"So f* off, chink, it's okay for me to call you this because racism is power plus prejudice." and in response to being criticised on this said "Personally, I find racist jokes funny” the Conservative Party would have had the whip off him before sundown.

Everyone should decide for themselves how they approach these issues, but mine is, to quote something from the US Civil Rights movement, to keep our eyes on the prize.

Does something contribute to that or does it detract from that? If KJK suddenly turned silent and disappeared from the public sphere, would we be better off, worse off, or the same?

There are benefits to the "good cop/bad cop" tactic, as the Suffrage Movement demonstrated, so sometimes it can be useful to allow others to perform the more extreme kinds of protest so that someone seen as more moderate gains more credibility.

As an aside, I know that public speaking and public protests can increase information and provide publicity, but such events, if of any scale and importance, will have infiltrators who try to make the protesters/speakers look bad. Women's rights protests won't be any different in this sense. Still, I agree that KJK should be stronger in her denial of the far right values.

She shouldn't have to do that, but it would be helpful for the overall movement if she did, because we want the largest possible number of people on our side.

What are our concerns again?

Are we worried about violence from KJK? Or that she will expose her genitalia to people? Or that she will take pictures of herself masturbating in the toilets for the opposite sex?

That would be really awful. Imagine being associated with / on the same side as people who did these kind of things 😳

I also thought she might mean ‘annihilated’ in the sense that, while these trans activist ally women are busy trying to shut her up, all the meaning related to them as women is being removed from them - aided and abetted by their very own actions - and they are not going to see it until it is too late.

Yes...and one more thing...

Everything you said, especially I do a lot of volunteering. There are literally 1000s of people who do fuck all themselves and spend the whole time complaining and carping from the sidelines about how we are doing it wrong. It's very familiar.

I might even have joined in with this kind of behaviour myself as a know-it-all teen, but I refuse to do it now. If you want someone to campaign exactly the way you want, then either pay someone a full-time wage to work for you and follow your instructions or... volunteer yourself.

I have spent over 10 years of my life as a member of this site, and I never agreed with KJK on everything. Why would I have done? I don't agree with anyone on everything. That hasn't changed.

She makes a few decisions I wouldn't; to take one example, sacrificing her own personal anonymity in order to publicly stand up for women's rights. If KJK did exactly what I thought fit, there would be no SFW at all, and I find it impossible to forget that when I disagree with something she's done.

So I am going to let KJK campaign without publicly bellyaching that she isn't under my thought-control.

If OP and others want KJK to distance herself from those they dislike, be that for their political affiliation, obnoxious views, links with unsavoury groups, or simply because they disagree, whatever.......
