On top of everything that has been discussed here I noted how you can all be for EDI (which I always confuse with IED...) and yet be so extremely classist to put up an enormous demands list in exchange of a tiny payment and the expectation that the person is a contractor and available for messages 24/7.

We should get back some of the old-time class politics, too, or at least admit that this new stuff still privileges the wealthier people.

This kind of publicity may come back to bite her. Her target audience is women but this shows precisely what she thinks of us.

On a side note. I know a life coach. She has cheated in every relationship she’s ever had, has a series of dead end jobs she keeps being let go from, and is generally a total flake. I’m sure there are good ones out there but any old crackpot can market themselves as one.

There is a push in some life coaching circles to drastically up your prices to these levels, according to the Youtube ads that I see sometimes. I think the idea is to have 2-10 clients and rake it in and then move onto selling an online course on how to make a fortune as a life coach. That course then brings in an additional few hundred thousand per year and you can work remotely from a nice beach. You can maybe get away with it if you have a huge amount of skill and natural charisma and a really large following on Twitter or TikTok but this woman is just making me laugh.

(I'm not a life coach btw, just vaguely interested in the scams in that industry having had a vulnerable relative who've trained as one)

I think I might become a life coach who specialises in coaching people in how to avoid being suckered in by exploitative life coaches.
Think there's a market for it.

Tempted to apply just so I can hit them with a discrimination claim when I'm not appointed due to being terfy.

I'm sure there are excellent life coaches, but I've known several head in that direction in the belief that charging a lot while talking bollocks very positively is a way to make a living.

As I'm down both tonsils and adenoids and I cut my toenails last night and have binned the clippings I guess I can't even apply (oh that and the fact that I am a wee bit terfy).
