Job ad - no TERFS need apply

Sorry if there's already a thread - apparently this nightmarish-sounding company offering a hellish-sounding job don't want the likes of FWR posters to apply. Also they don't seem to understand discrimination law.

I just saw the scenarios they want the applicants for the VA role to address. Note #6 🙄🙄🙄

Maisie has a fierce belief in herself

But apparently not in reality or the law!

😂

OnTheThames · 18/03/2023 18:11

I’ve just read Maisie’s bio. She’s basically an acupuncturist with some sort of ‘qualification’ in life coaching.

I think she needs to cleanse her chakras and align her energy before she writes anymore job ads.

ArabellaScott · 18/03/2023 18:11

I think Maisie's taking the piss. That can't be real.

ArabellaScott · 18/03/2023 18:12

'Ms Hill, who charges £20,000 for six months of coaching'

Come on, now. She doesn't. She might like to, but who's going to take advice from someone this ridiculous?

Maisie and Bek...

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 18/03/2023 18:22

We don’t complain

what, not even when we're doing Masie's life admin on top of everything else for 900 quid a month with zero job security because we're contractors and fucking Bek keeps asking us to work the fucking weekend? not even then?

HereComesMaleficent · 18/03/2023 18:22

I'd rather shit in my hands and clap, than work for that organisation of delusion and grandeur.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 18/03/2023 18:24

the astrological rising sign in the job app is BRILLIANT. and having checked the form, genuine

i'm boggling here

QuintanaRoo · 18/03/2023 18:24

We are a close team and we bring our whole selves to work. 🤣

Theeyeballsinthesky · 18/03/2023 18:26

Just been reading about maisie 🤪🤪 god save us from social entrepreneurs with vanity “businesses”

Theeyeballsinthesky · 18/03/2023 18:27

That’s why I could never work there @QuintanaRoo i find it so hard not to leave random bits of me behind 😆

mcduffy · 18/03/2023 18:30

I read the application form earlier this week for a laugh. There was something about getting excited about voice notes?
What a wanker

bellac11 · 18/03/2023 18:31

Why did the previous person in the role leave?

PearCrumbleCustard · 18/03/2023 18:31

Such a strange case. A woman, who ironically is being quite assertive in her financial worth, something we woman are often not, but only to other women, in a woman’s only issue, periods, does not want women who believe in biology to apply for a job with her?

CandidaAlbicans2 · 18/03/2023 18:35

She's asking £20K for weekly life coaching for 6 months?! With just a "diploma"?! I notice she hasn't said what level diploma, but judging by her other qualifications it'll be a load of woo bollocks anyway 🙄

And of course she's now studying "nutritional therapy" at a "Naturopathic Medicine" college, rather than going to uni and studying an Association for Nutrition approved BSc in nutrition, or studying dietetics.

Love how she says "I’m an all round fantastic person" on her website, when my thoughts are tedious, self-indulgent, navel-gazing, cliched, middle-class, twat"

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 18/03/2023 18:39

Thirty hours a month, eh? Delusional

RumandSpinach · 18/03/2023 18:41

I'm not gender critical but read out of curiosity.

Maisie sounds like such an appalling narcissist. Incredible to expect help in her personal life but expect to employ someone entirely self-sufficient who doesn't need feedback and doesn't have off days.

OnTheThames · 18/03/2023 18:41

She actually calls herself an all round fantastic person? That’s hilarious. She’s incredibly humble, too, I bet.

Maybe she's looking for a woman+ model? You know, the ones who are soooo much better at womaning than us mere females?

Oh, no, can't be - they're not exactly known for being unassertive, humble and obedient (as it takes confidence, self advocacy and being prepared to ignore society's 'rules' to transition in the first place). More likely some timid little thing that'll take all the shit for fuck all money. Which means young, as of course, they wouldn't be able to truly trust an older woman who might be lying. Would likely be quite happy with somebody who ticks non binary.

Might as well have said 'NO MIDDLEAGED FEMALES NEED APPLY', really.

EpicChaos · 18/03/2023 18:46

" Are a glass half-empty person. We don’t expect you to be happy all the time, but we like to have a laugh and so do our clients, so having a sense of humour is important. "

WoW!
Tra's have a sense of humour? I never knew that. Would never even have suspected it in a million years, to be fair!
I'm truly in shock.

DottyDalmation · 18/03/2023 18:51

I like that it’s made the telegraph.

I’d be shocked if this advert didn't break the equality act 2010

FrancescaContini · 18/03/2023 18:52

I left my small intestine in the car the other day. Caused no end of problems at work. I'd have gone back to get it but I just couldn't stomach it. 😁
